   Have visited infrequently over last 3 decades. Usual anglicized Indian fare . As always good service provided by friendly staff. Vegan options available. No complaints & food as expected. Wish food colourings would not be added. Not necessary & unhealthy. A pleasant evening but not authentic Indian cuisine.

   Been using this curry house for some years. Last night was terrible. Weird looking orange makhani, rubbery chicken and half tub of oil jalfrezi. Won’t be back. Lamb madras was bang average.

   Every time I have ever eaten here, the food has been of the highest standard. The dish I normally get is the Bengal Zalfrezi, which I have never seen anywhere else. I guess it's their regional take on Jalfrezi but it have a variety of different meats in it. The onion bhaji and the Bombay potato are also really good, along with the Lamb Dhansak. As far as taste goes, this place does take a lot of beating. The lighting is low and so this fosters a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. These guys also do takeaway and they will give you a drink whilst you wait for your takeaway. This is also very reasonably priced for the outstanding quality that you get.
