   Absolutely love this place and their food! Both the veggie and meat dishes are amazing. Whenever I’m hosting for family or friends, I always order from here — it never disappoints. From their Aloo (potato) samosas to their paneer (Indian cheese, not cottage cheese) spring rolls and kebabs, everything is so delicious. My kids and my whole family absolutely enjoy the food from Poonam’s.

   Went in to order a lamb curry with sundries only to be told 10 minutes later dish not available but chicken curry is ! Ok so I agreed , after reaching home discovered that the dish was in fact not a chicken curry but a spicy over salted chicken tikka masala ! Please don't fool your customers and be more honest in future in providing the current dish and not substitute it .

   I used to buy sweets and savoury only from this shop since 2020 but now the taste and quality of sweets dropped.i bought 3 kg gulab jamun which was old and sour in taste.when spoke with owner they said its always fresh ! They are selling rubbish sweets now Never go there

   Visited this morning for breakfast. Fresh parathas on display and savoury was amazing too. Polite staff and clean space to sit and enjoy your meal. They have veg and non veg options so everyone is sorted. Will visit back soon.

   I didn’t like their food and customer service. I ordered spring roll, bread pakora , samosas and tikki. I asked them to heat up my food and guy pretended that he heated it in microwave but food was cold. Food wasn’t tasty seemed like they served us everything from yesterday’s leftover. I won’t recommend to anyone and I Won’t go there again!

   I ordered a dish for £0.60 from an arrogant man standing on the recipient, and instead of just serving it, he started telling me about another food that cost more. He actually mentioned three times that you came here to buy a dish for 60 pence, as if he wanted to harass me. I have seen people struggling for even one pound, and people are jobless. Now, all that remained of the dish's flavour was spice. Overall, I had a rather poor experience, and I would not suggest anyone visit this shop.

   Went today and customer service was good and when you go into the shop the food and mithai looks good, but the food is not fresh. Loads on display which I think is the problem. The food is not fresh! It does not taste like it was made on the same day. Mithai is hard/stale and samosa, fish, spring rolls taste like they are at least a day old. Its such a shame!

   Big disappointment We ordered 50 samosas and few kg mixed pkodas for our program on Sunday the 18th dec and 25 boxes of Laddoo All the pkode were full of salt and the replaced cabbage with borccli. The potatoes were grated and filled in samosas. Can you imagine a grated potato filling in a punjabi samosas. They ruined our program. We are extremely disappointed .

   Very disappointed with Poonam this Diwali . My parents brought pre - packed Diwali sweet boxes for relatives and when we opened the boxes we got from home there was stale poor quality selection sweets inside some even had mould on them. It’s like Poonam have packed them with left over old sweets that didn’t sell. Awful never buying our Diwali sweet boxes from here again .
