Ordered here on Christmas Eve, I ordered the mixed kabab, if I wanted frozen Donner meat I would have bought it myself from Iceland, the chicken tikka makhanwala was just chicken tikka with some grated cheese on top, the butter chicken well I'm not sure it was butter chicken as it was a dry as sand. I won't be ordering from here again.

I always thought vindaloo meant fire, this food is so so good, I don't like hot spicy myself but the food from here is just so tasty and fresh, with no msg, iv got to know the staff here at vinesloo Knowsley road, and they've got to know me. it seems they like and want to cook for me, brilliant service, the most tasty food, brilliant staff, fast food its not, but the best food as fast as possible. vindalo staff, I thank you, I will be ordering my dinner tonight and cant wait, so nice, thankyou. terry at 42
2 hours to deliver a single curry, an omelette and chips. Called and was continually promised it would arrive ‘in 5 minutes’. When it did arrive it was awful. Dry, chewy chicken in the curry. Chips dripping in oil. Brown, over-cooked omelette. Definitely not worth the wait. Shocking service, terrible food.
I've been using Vindaloo for a few years now and the food is just out of this world. Truly authentic India cuisine of the very highest standard. I've never had to wait more than 40 minutes for delivery and when it does arrive it is piping hot. The staff are lovely as well which, honestly, is really appreciated. By far the best Indian in Bootle. 10/10.
The delivery was late + The food was tasteless!! It was 1st time ordering the food from them and it will be for last time.
Lamb Biryani was bland, Kashmir Kebab was also pretty tasteless and the omelette was soggy.
Never ever ever had a problem with the food, always been great, but the problem is delivery times, 2-3 years ago we had a delivery arrive after 1h45 mins, we let it slide, next time we ordered, we made a order at 7pm, it arrived at around half ten, though we'd ordered somewhere else well by then, we told the delivery driver we didn't want it, losing the place about £50, didn't use them them for a year or so, then it seemed better again for a, but now back to the shocking delivery times. Will give them the sack again
Shocking!!!! We ordered food last night for delivery at 8.30pm, it didn't arrive. I was unable to contact the restaurant as the phone was permanently engaged. as the food was ordered via Just Eat they updated me that the delivery was now due at 8.55pm, it didn't arrive!!! The restaurant phone was still permanently engaged. The food finally arrived at 11.15pm the driver said it was due to issues in the kitchen. SO surely a phone call from the restaurant wasn't expecting too much to keep us in the picture. I contacted Just Eat today to complain, they offered a £5 refund, not great but ok lets go with that. BUT if only life was so simple this was then blocked by the RESTUARANT as they are now saying the delivery was late due to traffic!!! We live less than 2 miles from the restaurant, so a 10 minutes drive, we can see the main road they would use, there was no traffic, so poor service now compounded by lies, rather than accept they dropped they ball on this occasion. I rarely write poor reviews but this place really deserves it. Poor service, zero communication topped off by lies to avoid a £5 refund to hopefully get business in the future. This really isn't what I would expect, so my advice is to get your food from elsewhere rather than take the risk of be let down, disappointed and lied to. Worst service EVER!!!!!!
Paid £28 for delivery of set menu for 2. Absolutely awful! Watery tasteless curries. A tablespoonful of salad which should have been binned a couple of days ago. A bag of smashed up poppadoms, a few bits of meat. Stone cold. Naan bread not sent. The delivery took 2 and 1/4 hours. Twice as long as estimated. Total waste of money! Don't even think about it!
