If youβre looking for authentic Madras/Chennai flavours from India, I highly recommend this restaurant. The dishes are truly traditional, and we really enjoyed the Madras thali, the tiffin buffet, a variety of fresh chutneys, pongal, and the best filter coffee. Service was quick, and the food arrived fresh and piping hot. If youβre visiting London and travelling by tube from Hounslow, this is one of the best places to enjoy genuine Indian food. Weβll definitely be visiting again soon.

I visit Madras Flavor at least once in 2 weeks, mainly for their vegetarian thali, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great consistency. The thali in particular is a real highlight β comforting, authentic, and satisfying every single time, which keeps me coming back again and again. On top of the food, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and often plays nice Tamil songs in the background, which adds a homely and cultural touch to the dining experience. Overall, itβs one of my favourite places for authentic vegetarian South Indian food in West London.

Iβve noticed a recurring issue with the idly batter from Madras Flavour β the packaging is never full. The most recent pack I bought was only about three-quarters filled. This has happened multiple times, and itβs quite disappointing, especially when you expect to get the full quantity youβre paying for. Quality-wise the batter is good, but the consistency in packaging needs serious improvement.

Amazing food, super fast service. They did forget one final dish but they quickly sorted that out. We had the chilli Mogo, veg Manchurian with gravy, Chennai special Rasam, and two Mumbai Thalis between 3 of us and that filled us up nicely without feeling awful after. Super helpful that the menu states which dishes will take longer to cook. 100% would go again, loved it so much

Visited this for a quick bite; Centrally located on the high street, the restaurant is a pure vegetarian with a good number of common dishes. Itβs well maintained. The menu has both breakfast items as well as Thalia for lunch/dinner. The prices are pretty affordable and the service was not bad. It also boasts a small Indian sweet counter which sells pretty common sweets like mysorepak, jangry, boondi and mothichoor laddus and others. The notable βThirupathiβ laddu is available here too, which is pretty good and delicious. Itβs a good restaurant with ample spacing and numerous dishes if you are looking for an South Indian restaurant

The place is noisy as hell contributes by loud music and chatty patrons. The silvers on the table (cups, jugs, cutleries) are unpolished and cutleries are not replenished to the full set. On the table they were only spoons, no fork or knife. Staffs are untrained, so donβt expect top notch service, just a average service, staff and rushing to finish work. Food is ok, but dosa is smaller than the average size of the plain dosa. Food wise it is best to go next door, Crispy Dosa, another South Indian restaurant. The taste is far better.
