Clean and tidy. Not too busy. Managed to get a very warm long dressing gown. Must admit though, was shocked at the price of the own brand coats being £60. Other than that good. Good range of stuff.

Went to Northwich Matalan for the first time since moving to the area and had a great customer experience. Had issues with scanning the rewards card at the till but the young man on the front was very helpful and set up a physical card for me. Then when I realised I'd ended up without a third item in the 3 for 2 a lovely woman helped to retrieve said item and noticing my baby was upset helped me get to the baby room to feed. Thank you for such a great customer service your kindness made the day so much easier. Apologies for not remembering names. Experience was the morning of 26/2/2025.
Staff could be more helpful. Never used self check out before & the check out lady wasn't helpful at all.
A good range of clothes for adults and children at reasonable prices. There's also lots of choice of bedding, homeware etc. Well worth a visit. Large free car park too.
Only self service with cards wasn't like that before covid some find it hard to do when there's 3 staff at cash only tills laughing 1 came to help me when I said one said its the way it's going not many use cash won't be going again
As a person with disabilities my shopping experience can be a hit or miss affair as some people don't know how to deal with people with disabilities. The staff we're fantastic treating me in a normal pleasant way helping me when needed with my service dog whilst trying some clothes on in addition to bringing what I wanted to me which was great as I could also peruse future items to buy whilst not having to walk around the store. The young lad, I've forgot his name who helped me went above & beyond the call of duty he even carried my items out to my vehicle. He made my overall experience outstanding. I'll be looking out for him on my next visit writing an update re his name & the then visit etc. Mike the manager will know who I mean as I commented on him & the young lady in store earlier today, thanks guy's. You look like a great motivated team. I'm also a wheelchair user which I'll now bring so I can peruse & buy things over a longer period in addition to more independence.
Nice place with a great selection of clothes and items for the home. Pretty big place so you might be looking around for a while but you will probably be able to find whatever you need. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Overall positive experience
