Kaalika is a family owned restaurant that moved to East Sheen from Putney. We went because it was highly recommended by friends. The cuisine was flavourful with large portions. Highly recommend mixed vegetable biryani, chicken biryani and nawab methi murg . Great cocktails and cocktails. The service was very family oriented and we felt very much at home. The atmosphere was great. Plenty of free parking at night. Will certainly be going back

We had dinner here on a Sunday night so it was very quiet. Nevertheless we were greeted by Arvin who was a great host and explained that it was family run and that showed as the food here is very good and they obviously care about their product. Each dish has its own distinctive flavour and colour. We had the lamb rogan josh which was excellent. I also had their special chicken dish. The chicken was tender and succulent and I could not fault it. This is a great restaurant and we will return. I just wish we had gone to it before!

Great place for Indo-Chinese food (and beyond!). Lovely family run restaurant where they put effort into every dish. A delicate and super tasty Chicken Mongolian was perhaps the highlight - absolutely outstanding flavours: complex, yet delightfully light. A slightly βdifferentβ, less dry, more succulent take on Chicken 65 was packed full of flavour. The pilau rice was nice(!). And the chicken noodles were very tasty - in fact, they would make a nice dish on their own. We also had a complimentary Ginger and fig desert, which was delicious.

WOW! First time here, and the positive reviews donβt lie. This is a tiny simple, family run, casual restaurant. It looks like no more than a predictable Indian takeaway from the outside, with only a few tables. But in the kitchen is a truly outstanding chef crafting remarkable dishes. The food is exceptional. The service is lovely. This is an absolute gem in a sea of average restaurants. Itβs our new favourite.

We found this little gem of a place tonight. Absolutely wonderful food, cooked fresh and with a difference. I love prawn dansak but it wasn't on the menu, however the lovely chef made one for me and it was delicious! Their take on the traditional poppadoms and kulfi is worth experiencing! Well worth a visit, especially if you would like to try dishes that are not the usual menu items. We were very pleasantly surprised and so glad we decided to try this restaurant!

Really good authentic Indian food! We had a very enjoyable meal trying out many dishes from the menu. Gobi Manchuria was excellent, samosa chaat was well prepared and the lamb chops were really delicious. It was a quiet Sunday night but the staff were friendly and efficient.

My friends and I went to Kaalika Palace on Sunday, April 24, 2022, for traditional Indian food. We order both starters and main courses. Everything was delicious. Despite the fact that the restaurant was limited in area, it was really clean. In addition, the customer service was outstanding. That was my first visit to this restaurant; before to that, I had only ordered on the online. That's why I went to the restaurant in the first place.
