Great good and great people, we came after being out in London for something nice, and we got something nice, food was very tasty and it was very filling. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic food. The chef took care of my special needs (rather mild). Freshly cooked. Great lamb chops and Marsala chicken and even a hot towel at the end.

Great curry house. We recently moved from Crouch End to Southgate and obviously lack of good restaurants were and still is a concern. However at least there’s a food choice for Bangladeshi cuisine. Staff is also lovely and attentive. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant, with lovely food and drinks. Had a sweet lassi for the first time, along with a kurma, which was delicious. It was also nice to see menu items with allergens listed - not many restaurants do that. The environment itself is nice, although the music speaker sounded a tad busted. I think what I was most impressed about was how much food you got for the price. You don't need to spend a lot to get your fill - we ended up ordering way more than needed, and had to take some away which is very rare for me! Would definitely go back.

Fast, reliable and delicious. We’ve never had a bad curry from here — I usually order an Okra Vindaloo, which they make for me, even though it is not on the menu.

We had a party here and clearly told them not to put cinnamon in the food. That’s exactly what they did and one of my guests was in hospital the next day. This was not just cross contamination but large chunks! Food was okay, nothing special. We tried to discuss this with them but they didn’t pick up our calls. Absolutely disgusting, considering that we spent over £1,000 at this establishment. Safe to say that we won’t be going back!

No taste, not Indian. Went for my birthday meal with my three children and my daughter's partner. Service was okay and the restaurant looked really nice but the food was tasteless. I mean even the tandoori didn't taste of anything really. All agreed and not one person said they thought the food was nice. Was worried when I ordered the prawn puree (which I always order at an Indian) and it was as spicy as a bowl of Weetabix. Not sure if Bangladeshi food is supposed to not taste of anything but I for five won't eat there again. Had to write this post just to warn others. One redeeming feature they don't sell alcohol and don't charge corkage so one star.

We had arranged a date night at Mehfil and was extremely impressed by the food and outstanding service. The staff was so friendly and guided us to the best dishes. When the food came out, I can honestly say I was mind blown by the flavours. The lamb was so tender and just melts in your mouth. This will definitely be my go to Indian, would recommend to everyone!

Fab Indian food in Southgate. Our first time here and we really enjoyed all the food we ordered - lots of vegetarian options that are side dishes or can be ordered as mains. We loved the mixed grill and the chilli paneer. The nan bread is pretty good too. The restaurant is close to the tube station and bus terminal, pay onstreet parking outside. Attentive staff. Takeaway available. We will be back.
