Very tasty food with an amazing menu! To start we tried the pepper prawns which were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The chicken korma was tender, creamy and delicious. The lamb roganjosh was very flavorful and made for a perfect dip for our garlic naan. Mango lassi was smooth and sweet! Service was great and our waiters were attentive. Definitely would go here again.

A longstanding and authentic Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood with outstanding hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the extensive food and drink menu caters to diners of all kinds. Indian cuisine isn’t the one I’m most familiar with, and I’m not very spice-tolerant, yet I found the flavours here superb - especially the Bombay fish curry, which is a must-try! I only wish we’d been hungry enough for more, as so many of the dishes sounded appealing.

Memories of India – Gloucester Road, London There’s something instantly comforting about walking into Memories of India — the aroma of sizzling spices, the hum of conversation, and that warm, familiar welcome that only a true Indian restaurant seems to master. The staff are gracious and attentive without hovering, moving through a full house with effortless charm — clearly, this is a place locals and visitors both know and love. The food? Spot on. The tandoori prawns arrived charred just right — smoky, juicy, and bursting with flavour — while the Aloo Gobi was the kind of simple perfection that reminds you why this dish is such a classic. Every bite felt like it came from a kitchen that still cooks with heart, not haste. A busy, buzzing restaurant that earns its reputation the honest way — through great food, genuine smiles, and a hint of spice that lingers just long enough to make you want to come back.

The staff welcomed us with a warm smile and presented our table. After around 10 minutes, a staff inquired what we liked to drink and took our food order soon after. We had a salmon dish and a couple of appetizers, and the freshness of the whole meal did not disappoint! Cleanliness was maintained well as I witnessed the staff cleaning the tables efficiently for the next customers. As a tourist, this is definitely a place we would recommend and return to on our visits here in Kensington. Truly, Memories of India!

Nice place. The food was severed hot, the flavors were what you’d expect from a good Indian restaurant and was delicious. The waiter was friendly and service was fast. Will return.

One of the best Indian food we have ever had! Amazing taste with wonderful and warm service. Everyone seemed happy working as they laughed and joked with each other and the customers. They made us feel at home. Definitely a memorable dinner for us in London.

The Indian restaurant is easy to spot....right on the road. Good decor and beautiful aesthetics. Very cordial and well spoken staff. Practicing all covid protocols. The chicken gravy spice level was low which is understandable keeping in mind the targeted crowd. Otherwise the food was delicious. Loved it. Will surely come back for more
