   My wife found herself unexpectedly stranded in Nunhead as her car broke down and Spices restaurant took her in and gave her a cup of tea whilst she waited for the AA. They were very kind and supportive, even though they were undergoing a refurbishment. Great people. Thank you Spices restaurant. Ben.

   Been ordering from here for over 10 years and this is the first time ive been super disappointed. Took over an hour to come, had to call to find out what was going on. They said “its coming now” and then we both hung up and when it arrived my food was cold (which never happens) and the lamb biriyani barely had any lamb in it and the tin wasnt even full. The veg curry has changed which is fine but it was super oily this time and it leaked into bag. Overall…im disappointed as i loved their food. Im assuming the owner which i know wasnt in today.

   If you eat here then I feel sorry for your stomachs, recently when to the restaurant, I was told food was fresh but i was shocked to notice that no food was cooked fresh in fact one of the workers tried to distract me with conversation while the ( chef) proceeded to cook my food in the microwave. Save your stomachs guys.

   First time ordering from here actually ordered from just eat and received a 20% discount. Spicy food is my favorite and I I’ve been using the same one for over 10 years and order at least once every week. I will definitely be ordering from here again. There was loads of meat and a few of the items that I bought was over £1 cheaper per dish then other places.
