Just a stone’s throw away from Monument Underground Station, Bangalore Express has become a favorite among office-goers looking for the perfect spot to enjoy team lunches and dinners. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this vibrant eatery several times, and each visit has been a delightful experience! Our starters were a feast for the senses—Kurkuri Bhindi that was crispy and flavorful, Malai Soya Chap that was rich and creamy, and tantalizing Vegetable Momos served with a zesty Shezwan sauce. We also indulged in the classic Mysore Masala Dosa and opted for some Fried Mini Idli and Thatte Idli, both of which were simply irresistible! To wash it all down, we enjoyed refreshing Filter Coffee and Fresh Lime Soda. During my recent visit, we ordered a Thali. They had North Indian Meat, North Indian Chicken and South Indian Vegetarian options. All the dishes were visually appealing, served in large portions and tasted amazing. Overall, Bangalore Express impresses with its array of Traditional South Indian dishes that not only taste fantastic but also bring a sense of comfort and nostalgia. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking a lively atmosphere and delicious food!

Had a wonderful experience here! We didn’t have a booking, but they still found us a table right away and were incredibly accommodating. It was my birthday, and they truly made the day feel special. Our server was new, but you would never have known it—she did a brilliant job and provided such warm, attentive service. Overall, the customer service was excellent and made our visit memorable. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried the Dosa and Kulfi (rose/pan) multiple times and both were excellent. Shannon and the team provide great service, and the starters are creative. The service can feel a bit slow at times, but given how busy the place gets, it’s understandable.

As a south Indian along with my husband who is bangalorean, we loved everything we ordered, from the masala dosa to the north Indian thali. The chutneys and sambar in the masala dosa was made like it was made at home with the right consistency and generous amount of drum sticks. The north Indian thali has perfect portions of 5 different curries across the dal makhani, palak paneer, baigan bhartha, potato curry and masala paneer combined with the rice and paratha and popads. The staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating when we wanted to swap out the dessert in the thali for another dessert. I would definitely come back here to try the same dishes and explore the other ones! Well done to the chefs and the team here for keeping the authenticity. I will be bragging about this spot to my friends and family and work!

Everything about our visit was fantastic - from the warm welcome to the beautifully presented dishes. Our creative starters, rich curries and perfectly balanced desserts were full of flavour and clearly made with care. A special thank you to Sharron, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our meal. Her genuine hospitality made our lunch feel extra special. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service!

We went for lunch and had a nice experience. The restaurant is hard to find as the entrance is away from the main road. However, the restaurant is extremely spacious with two levels of seating. It was not that busy when we visited but the service was still a bit delayed. It felt like there was just one person trying to manage all the orders. The food was tasty and full of flavours. Loved the dosa, chutneys and the masala tea.

This is a authentic Indian restaurant. You’re an Indian then you would be disappointed by the taste. Because they make meals as per British pallet. But overall it was good. Dal Makhani was top notch.

Five stars are not enough. The quality and flavour of the food are superb. We have the chance to chat and get a detailed explanation of the process to make this amazing dishes, some of the fishes for example are marinated 48hs, and I can tell you that when you tried taste like nothing that you had before. The classic Indian chutneys take a twist and let you experiment a completely new range of flavours. Any particular dish have is own distinctive character, I believe that is a place to re discover in any visit. After eat so many different dishes seasoned to the perfection I can't make justice simply writing a review. Is more than just a place to eat, it is an experience where you will feel welcome and part of a culture, the essence of Indian traditions in the heart of the City of London.

The interior decor is nice and the staff are friendly. Foodwise, the paneer and chicken tikka could've done with some seasoning, but weren't bad. The dry mutton dish (sukka) was far too spicy to enjoy, which is a shame (this dish isn't described as very hot, so expected a nice deep blend of spices with heat in the background, rather than just pure hotness).

Love the food there, it’s just amazing and full of flavors. It’s spicy, so just be mindful, you can ask if they can reduce the spicy level. Go for the mutton biryani, you can never go wrong with that. Mutton sukka was also good. They have a wide verity of starters and they serve really nice cocktails. It quiver became my favorite Indian food restaurant and I go there every time I’m in London.
