We wanted to go to other place but we needed to wait for 50 mins. The person who was working there recommended this place so we visited. Every one was very friendly and nice and food was great. My 3 years old daughter who couldn’t eat Indian food (said it was too spicy) enjoyed a lot here.

Came here for lunchtime following recommendation from a review from a Facebook group. My son had the vindaloo and I had the karahi chicken tikka masala with pliaw rice and a couple of garlic naans. When we arrived it was lovely and quiet and greeted by the staff. We were served by Masoom I hope I got his name right but very attentive and a very charming host. Poppadoms served before our meal. The food was absolutely delicious and will thoroughly recommend this place and we will definitely return

I dropped into Bengal Village on Brick Lane recently and found it to be a delightful experience. The food was excellent, rich flavours, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere felt cozy yet lively, with that familiar hum of voices and clinking cutlery that adds charm rather than chaos. Service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal, which made the visit even more enjoyable. In short: great food, a warm setting and really solid service. I’d definitely go back.

Had they same dishes compared to Aladin from across the street, the food was much better and the chapatti’s were made fresh and the lamb vindaloo was delicious, and they serve alcohol.

Very beautiful place inside, with a jungle-inspired ambiance. Maybe too crowded seats. Now let’s talk about the food: we ordered several dishes from the specialties. GREAT FOOD! TASTEFUL! Exceptional flavor, a bit spicy (just how I like it). Meat is the true specialty of this cuisine, and this restaurant prepared and served it with great care and tradition. There’s also a WHOLE vegetarian menu, of course. Very talented chefs – compliments to them! The waitstaff was extremely kind! Go visit this place!

I was really excited to try this Indian restaurant that had such good reviews online. But my experience there was a total disappointment. The atmosphere seemed like it was trying too hard to be fancy and appeal to tourists, and it felt like the focus was more on how the place looked than the actual food. The curry dishes we ordered were bland and didn't have much flavour. The tandoori king prawns, which are usually one of my favourite things to get at Indian restaurants, were overcooked and rubbery. Yuck. The only decent part of the meal was the sauces, which were actually pretty good. But overall, I was disappointed by this restaurant. It's a bummer because Indian food can be so amazing, and this place has the potential to be really good. But they didn't deliver on the quality of the food, which is the most important thing to me when I'm eating out. There are definitely better Indian restaurants in the area that put more effort into their dishes.

The Bengal Village Restaurant offers catering services that have always been exceptional. Perfect for any special occasion, the dishes are cooked with fresh ingredients and include a range of classic flavors. From their vegan selection to the wide array of seafood, there's something to suit every palate. Highly recommended for quality and convenience.

Amazing relaxed casual dining with excellent food with something for everyone. He was on a business trip with a variety of palettes and tastes, but everyone left happy. We didn't break the bank and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was amazing, including one of the best hosts ever.

A actual Indian eating place and the pleasant Indian meals I've needed to date. Many particular dishes which you can not discover at usual Indian curry eating places. A actual deal with. Staff became perfect. Price became very affordable - a lot much less than predicted given the quality.

Probably one of the best meals I've ever had. The coconut sea bass was the star of the show here, it was just perfectly prepared. Not to mention absolutely stellar service! It was zero for good food and the portions were fair. He loved it.
