1 hour wait at 5:30PM on a December Friday. Excellent Indian food in a cozy and eclectic setting. You sit in cushy armchairs as you share saucy dishes across a coffee table. Such a fun place to eat among good company. We ordered the fried okra, black daal, ruby chicken, mattar paneer, lamb chops, an order of rice and multiple orders of garlic naan. They were all do delicious and full of flavours and spices. I would happily order them all over again.

Amazing food! Dishoom never disappoints! We had the chicken ruby, makhmali paneer, rice and roomali roti - all of which were 10/10. What made the night even better was the lovely waitress (who’s name we didn’t catch but she has dark curly hair and tattoos) saw it was one of our birthdays and gave a dessert (Basmati Kheer) on the house!! What was already a lovely day was brightened by this gesture!! Thank you!!! *one of our party is coeliac and their GF options and accommodations are great :)

Best Indian restaurant ever in Shoreditch. We had to wait a bit outside and then inside, but it was fine since it was warm and we could enjoy some drinks. Totally worth it — the food was amazing and the staff were great. Also, the online payment option is super convenient!

This is a nice restaurant with very friendly staff. It seems to be quite popular, as it was really full and we had to make reservations a few days in advance. The food is good, however, the drinks and coffee were excellent. My friends ordered the chocolate pudding and really seemed to enjoy it. While the dishes aren’t quite as authentic as I expected—more tailored to the local community’s taste—I think it’s still worth experiencing for yourself. Overall, it’s a pretty okay restaurant.

I tried Indian food for the first time with my husband – a very special experience! Everything was different from what we know of Turkish or German cuisine, very flavoursome and interesting. Some dishes took a bit of getting used to, but we really enjoyed trying everything. The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and attentive, and we especially appreciated the dessert offered on the house. Definitely worth trying for anyone curious about Indian cuisine.

Some of the best restaurant food I've ever eaten. Lots of interesting dishes that aren't your standard Indian takeaway options and there are excellent vegan options too. Mid range prices, not the most expensive but personally for me in the range of an occasional treat. If there isn't a table available, you get given a buzzer and you can wait at the bar. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the menu.

Came here for brunch, made reservations ahead of time. The breakfast naan wraps are really well made and so flavorful, and you have the option of getting vegan sausage which is a nice plus. They have a good selection of drinks as well and the atmosphere is so nice! We are at the outdoor veranda which was very cute!

I took a flight just to come here! I must say, all my expectations are met. A great vibe in this restaurant. I love the food and the variety on the menu. The staff are super friendly. The taste of House Chai is unbelievably awesome, it simply brings back my childhood memories from India. Thank you Dishoom! It was worth a flight to come here. Highly recommended!!!

Dinner was amazing! We got here around 9pm on a Tuesday night and the wait was over an hour. A little surprised by that but the time went by pretty quick. They brought out some lemonade while we were waiting which was nice. Food itself was great and the atmosphere is amazing as well.

Nice, almost like an Indian Street food tapas. If that's your thing, amazing. But I will stick to my curry houses next time. Staff was fantastic. Vibe was lovely. Very modern, almost like a bill's interior to it. There was a wait, but they look after you nicely. A dinner date with my bestie cost us £75.
