   It's disappointing that my local shoe shop has such rude staff. I really tried to accept my mistake and understand their position, but it felt like because of my mistake I therefore had to be treated badly. I'll be honest, I lost my receipt from a pair of shoes I ordered for my son. It was just over a week ago and unfortunately it's been misplaced or lost. After they couldn't give it to my family member the day before I walked down to collect. Bear in mind, I had received a phone call from them to me telling me it had arrived in store. When I arrived the lady acknowledged quickly that she recognised me as the man who bought the shoes. Yet she immediately asked me for the receipt, this is after I had already expressed to them I'd lost it. I wasn't there to argue over my fault in this. But instead, they refused to give me to shoes I had purchased because I didn't have the receipt, I asked for (not the first time) what else I could do, the lady expressed I had to show her my bank statement to show I'd paid for them particular shoes. This makes absolutely no sense. Apparently me showing a random transaction to Windsor's on my phone is a better proof of purchase than her acknowledging who I was, her acknowledgement that she knew I bought the shoes and that I knew everything about the transaction. I told her I thought they were being pedantic with this. Then the lady's manager felt the need to lean over her and point at me with a raised voice that I'm wrong and all stores do the same as if I was having a go at her. Bear in mind my son is asleep in the pram here, so I wasn't shouting or raised my voice. To cut it short, the staff seemed more determined to win their argument than give me my shoes I had already paid for. So I again question why if they knew who I was, why they had to argue with me, and why I had to ask for how else I could retrieve my shoes, as they did not offer an alternative to me without me prying, even when they remembered that I was the person who bought the shoes. Terrible customer service over something so small. I hope, if they choose to reply to this, that they don't repeat the same argument about proof of purchase. I acknowledged that from the start, but your lack of empathy and understanding when you knew who I was, is terrible and it really wasn't worth losing a customer over. You could have handled this so much better.

   I bought a shoes for my children as today was Eid to celebrate I actually bought them yesterday and they tried them at home to see if they are comfortable then my little girl she felt down and the shoes were a little bit bigger than her and I decided to exchange them to comfortable shoes because they were short heels when I returned them today morning, they told me they can’t exchange them for me that the shoes were worn, not at all they just tried them, if it’s then your shoes are poor quality yes they are and bad service as well I bought the shoes by £30 pounds and what I will do with the shoes just give them to someone else’s daughters to wear them as long as my daughters can’t walk on them and thank you for disappointing and embarrassing. This shop is in Salford shopping centre M5

   Shoes I was trying on. Too small the lady serving me, checked stock. Sold out ,phoned the supplier, and ordered me 2 pairs. Phoned me when they came. Very pleasant helpful Top Class. Recommended 10/10. My beloved ♥ and myself have shopped here for years, top class footwear, and helpful. Brian.
