Wonderful shoes. I ordered a brown pair of boat loafers and a pair of black oxford leather patent shoes in size 12. By far the comfiest and highest quality shoes I've ever owned. You can tell how well made they are when you try them on. They arrived less than 36 hours after being ordered. Thank you!
Bought some sheepskin slippers from Goodwin Smith in the post-Xmas sale. Very happy with my purchase, they seem to be great quality for the price & definitely keep my feet warmer than my old fabric slippers. Arrived quickly & well packaged. Very happy with my purchase.
Ordered 2 pairs of men's leather brogues on 9th May & delivered on 12th May. Excellent service, shoes are excellent quality & hubby says they are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this company.
I am not sure what kind of loophole allows these shoes to be sold as leather. The quality of these shoes is genuinely horrible and potentially the worst quality leather I've seen in a while. The returns are not free either. Would not use again.
OK, so I ordered the Brandon Brogue Boots boots on Boxing Day expecting a next day delivery once the warehouse was open - so expected to see the boots delivered before new years. The Site didnt mention that it is closed till 3rd Jan, so like others I was annoyed with that - was fine but some clarification on site would have been useful to set expectation you know - otherwise you are left wandering where your order is, if they have messed up or scammed you or something. Feedback to GS is definitely to be more clear with comms like that - people like to know where their orders are - and its fine if not on the way yet. I got concerned having read some negative reviews so I emailed them, I got the automatic response but this was in fact followed up by a polite email the next day explaining the office was shut and the order was yet to be processed, a few days later the boots turned up - the speed and response was very positive from my experience! Feedback on the boots: I ordered these at risk given I hadn't seen them in person, I personally don't like boots with single piece rubber soles and heels, they seem cheap, and have shorter life spans. Pleased to say this is NOT the case with these boots, they seem very well constructed, with quality materials, time will be the true test though. I cant quite tell what the heel construction is but its not a single piece rubber that for sure and the main sole is stitched not just glued, it looks like these should be easy to maintain and replace heel when worn etc. excellent stuff! They need to be worn in, exposed the the elements to test quality properly but out the box they look the money!, are comfortable and solid feeling. Very nice design with the zip albeit I feel like a contortionist getting them on in a hurry lol. I found them to be slightly pointier than expected with around an inch of space between the toes and the tip - its the style and personal preference. Whilst I hate 'pointy' penguin shoes as a personal preference, these are definitely NOT like that and don't make you look like a penguin at all - just right. Cant speak for the other products in the brand lineup but the Brandon Brogues indeed appear to be of very decent quality out the box, look great and nicely designed. If they stand the quality/time test I'll definitely consider getting the Bordo (burgundy colour) version. As a general FYI to shoppers (and NOT related to this order) - when ordering with PayPal, you should never be too worried because it's easy to escalate and they they can sort issues and make refunds happen when goods have not been shipped - which is why it's important for sellers to ben fully transparent and keep customers up to date with order status.
Great quality boots are an amazing price. Delivered in good condition and in good time. I would recommend them to anyone!
Really pleased with shoes purchased from Goodwin Smith. Boots were a reasonable price and seemingly good quality. Delivery was fast and good correspondence. Would recommend and would use them again.
I’ve had two pairs. Both disappointing. They never look as good as the photos and quality is genuinely really bad. Soles fell off one pair in weeks. The other had a zip that came unstitched and fell apart. Now both in the bin.
I finally received my sandals 8 months later…. 8 MONTHS!!!! Ordered on 01-09-21 and received yesterday 09-08-21 I guess they have a warehouse on the Mars…. Two stars because I love my new sandals!
