Extremely bad experience All the utensils were so dirty i ordered daal makhni it tasted like tomato paste but sweet and chicken liver was so average only good thing was the hot and sour soup. One of the platter was also missing a handle as you can see in photos. Horrible experience total waste of money.

We ordered from Hyderabad Wala Ilford, and I personally went to collect the takeaway. The food was good, especially the Chicken 65 which I really enjoyed. The Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani was tasty but a bit too spicy for my liking. We didn’t dine in, but from my experience, the staff didn’t seem very welcoming or friendly, which was a little disappointing. Overall, the food was nice.

When we arrived, I was a little bit disappointed – the main restaurant upstairs was really busy and there were no tables available, which is fine, but they still lead us in the middle of the dining area ended up waiting in the middle walking up and down until a manager came and still no one could give us even a rough idea of how long the wait would be. We had a double pram with us, so in the end we had to carry it all the way downstairs. The service downstairs was honestly pretty bad almost non-existent. We had to keep going out to ask for menus, to order food, or just to get some attention and others seated downstairs also did the same. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The lamb curries were the standout super tender, so flavourful, and definitely spicy. I was actually craving it again the next day and I had made an order for Uber eats unfortunately I would say that is best to eat and order at the restaurant.

The Dum chicken Biriyani was quite delicious and less spicy than the dum lamb biriyani. I specifically liked the chicken biriyani as it was having less masala at the bottom. The meat portion was fair but less compared to the lamb biriyani. The lamb biriyani was ok too but the problem was, half of the rice of the lamb biriyani was covered with thick masala and oil which made us to abandon that portion. We ate the chick biriyani rice with the lamb pieces from the lamb biriyani. Overall it was great. I wish the owners will take car of the lamb biriyani masala issue as i have seen the same complaint in earlier review. Recommended for a quick lunch or dinner near Ilford station.

We were expecting to have buriyani for lunch. There was a delay in getting the meat delivered. We had fried rice as per Chinese recipes. They were good! Not that oily.

The name looks very appealing. The place is clean well done up. The service not on point.we ordered chicken tika and a chicken biryani. We were given spoons and forks.I asked for knifes, and I had to ask for sauces..we had to wait for sauces as they all came with the biryani. For the biryani their was yogurt and a very thin based soupy kind of curry that tasted awful. Its a shame to say the biryani had hardly any spice or any masala base to mix in just boiled rice and two pieces of chicken. A big let down.

Lovely restaurant, good decor, lovely lighting and offers HMC food. We had a table for three for iftar. Very spacious inside lots of table upstairs and downstairs. Friendly staff. Lovely see through kitchen area very clean throughout place. Would like to see the staff giving dates to break fast or ask customers just a small touch goes a long way. Luckily we brought our own dates. We order the traditional Hyderabad platter, meat and chicken Hyderabad Dum Biryani with a meat curry. Platter came after 15mins wait and was hot and tasty. Would like to see some more variety of sauces to eat with platter. We did receive a peri peri sauces. Plenty on the platter for three hungry men from chicken tikka, chops, kebabs and salad. The biryani took a bit longer to come about half an hour after we had nearly finish platter and another 10 minutes for the curry. Would prefer food to come together especially biryani and curry. Mango lassi was lovely, thick and tasty. We loved the presentation of plates, cutlery and thali. The price was very reasonable Β£57 for the three of us including drinks so value for money. When we initially read reviews had second thoughts but do visit and give it a go. Everyone taste and likes will be different. Thank you great evening, good food and great company.
