   I ordered Karahi Paneer from Punjabi Rasoi, but I received dal instead. This is very disappointing. Their customer service is very poor, and I don’t appreciate this kind of behaviour. Now they are even telling me to place the order again and pay more, which is completely wrong

   Food is well below standards. Ordered batura chole and puri were hard and so oil soaked. Quite inedible. They were refried for sure. Then ordered punjabi salad which was two dried slices of cucumber cut a long time ago as was dry. Two slices of tomato and two slices of mooli. Slices of onion. Not a nice mixed salad. Just slices of old salad. The onion salad i ordered from the picture was infact more thick slices of onion with masala powder on top. The picture shows a salad of onions that is finely shredded. What I got was thick sliced onion. Who eats this type of stuff? Rip off. Nearly £12 for this tripe, for which i left most of it. Don't recommend. Unless you want to eat heaps of onion. Also lady server is pleasant, but man doing food is rude. Other man wasn't nice either

   After reading a lot of reviews, have been to this place with kids. Food, service and speed of service is amazing. There were a lot of uber/just eat and telephone orders being placed and collected. This place seems quite popular. Entire team were professionally handling collections, and orders within restaurant very efficiently. Did not feel there was delay or waiting. There was a big group reservation, and a lot of individual tables being attended. About food itself, it was very delicious and was also customised to kids needs. Definitely going back to this place, on my next trip to Illford. There is parking available in streets around, and also at front of the restaurant. There are a lot of options to choose for vegetarians too.

   Went with a group of friends. The place was very busy but we were given attention immediately, a table was cleared and sanitized and we were seated. Our order was taken and the food arrived in good time, all being freshly prepared. I would say the best Indian food I have ever tasted and plenty of it, served by the friendliest staff ever. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you Sandy and team.

   The Punjabi Rasoi under new management is really amazing. - Wonderful Ambiance. - Proper authentic North Indian Food is been served. Must try Sarso da saag and Makke di roti. - Hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at its top. - Very Kind, helpful and humble staff. - Ms Nav and Ms Sinu are very tender and obliging.
