   Sanjha Chulha – A Delightful Punjabi Feast I recently visited Sanjha Chulha in Dagenham and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From start to finish, it offered many highs — here’s what stood out: What I loved: The flavors were rich and authentic, especially in the Punjabi dishes. The spices were balanced and each bite felt fresh. Generous portions: you won’t leave hungry. The service was warm and attentive. The staff seemed genuinely invested in making sure guests had a good time. Ambience: It struck a nice balance between traditional and modern decor, making it comfortable and inviting without feeling stuffy. They offer a variety of vegetarian options (always a plus!) and seem to cater to different tastes. Things to watch out for / areas for improvement: The noise level rises quite a bit when there’s live music or during busy hours, which can make conversations a bit harder. Sometimes there are inconsistencies in portions or presentation (one season the samosas were praised, in another they were reported overcooked).

   Terrible Experience – Cold and Undercooked Food! I had a really disappointing experience at Sanjha Chulha. The food arrived cold, and to make it worse, several items were clearly undercooked — especially the chicken, which was almost raw inside. The rice was hard and barely cooked, and the curries lacked any real flavour. It honestly felt like everything had just been rushed out without proper preparation. On top of that, the service was slow and the staff seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns. For the prices they charge, the quality was unacceptable. I won’t be returning and definitely don’t recommend it to anyone expecting a proper meal.

   They claim to offer a discount on the Market meal app. when I called, the guy over the phone had no clue and told me they do not do anything like Markeet meal. Then he said the manager is not there and he has no clue.

   Attended a wedding over the weekend, the food was ok but what wasn't acceptable was the tone and manner of the staff especially the manager highly unprofessional behaviour if your looking for good service then this isn't the place, rude couldn't speak English i suggest you learn to speak before trying to run a business, there is certain level of professional required when speaking to customers and this place lacks that, avoid at all cost you will be disappointed

   I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was shocking the waitress were incredibly rude. I went with a group of 5 and there was a complete Lack of etiquette from the staff. The drinks took an hour to arrive followed by our starters which I had to request for several times by different staff. There were two events going on and it seemed that those were more important. It was very loud with blaring music and no care for the paying customer. The waitresses spoke very rudely to us. We left after our starter.Whcih they tried to overcharge for. The food was pretty poor for the price you pay. The most shocking service not sure who hired these waitresses but they should not be in a customer facing role.

   Came to London for vacation, and was craving for good Indian food, must say the management is so good. Specially the manager Sam, i was overwhelmed as he comfort me,made me feel like I am back home.must agree his management skills are superb. Also the service was quick and this young chap,his name was Vikram, greeted with smile and was very joyful. Will definitely recommend everyone.
