    Its rare you come across a restaurant that ticks all the boxes on a first visit. This place is special. They care and it shows. Fresh ingredients, subtle flavours and excellent presentation. Most notable though is the staff. Young people, perfectly mannered, engaged and attentive. A credit to the establishment. I travelled a way to the West Malling but it was so worth the journey. If I could give 10 stars I would and it's once a blue moon I can ever say that.

    “I’ve been a regular at Desh but Yesterday was my special day. It was my birthday. Had an amazing birthday celebration at Desh! Not only did the owner surprise me with two extra dishes of my favorite food, but the staff also brought out a small ice cream candle with 'Happy Birthday' written on the plate and sang along. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that made my evening truly special. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!"

    Restaurant in West Malling Kent serving a range of Indian/Asian food in a contemporary setting. The restaurant also has a daytime menu offering toasted sandwiches and wraps starting at just £4.50. you can have a ham & cheese toastie or go for something with an Asian twist which is really different. There are also lunch time offers of authentic Asian food or you can order from the main menu. I thought the food was nicely presented and the staff were friendly and attentive and gave recommendations on what to try from the lunch menu.

    We have been there a few times. We went for the Deshi Roast Dinner! It was amazing. We order an extra side dish there wasn’t eaten as there was so much food. It tasted superb. The drinks were fantastic too! The staff were all so friendly, making you feel very welcome but working so professionally.

    A great modern Indian restaurant with a top notch menu with an extensive selection of dishes to try. Each Taylor made to fit with your personal spice levels. Well presented. Excellent in house team who go to great lengths to explain to you the menu and the ethos behind the place. Well worth a visit.

    Menu a bit limited with everything "korma" but you can ask to have it 'spiced up'. Food is tasty but on the expensive side. Atmosphere was z bit lacking but we were early. Judging by how busy it was later its popular.

    New customer was looking forward to try out restaurant as heard good things nothing was explained about menu unfortunately the Food wasn’t great service was rubbish just left restaurant with husband, Poppadoms was rubbish including source! Samosa starter was dry and tasteless when my main arrived korma which was tasteless sent back basically didn’t eat anything, and had to constantly ask for a drink in the end didn’t want to wait any longer went up to till and paid couldn’t wait to leave now at the kebab shop as starving £60 pounds down manager also had cheek to ask for a tip! Will never return awful experience

    Great cocktails - loved the Berry Desh with fruit, grenadine and a brilliant balancing hint of ginger. The Traditional sharing meal was wonderful too with lovely marinated half roast chicken, gorgeous beef biryani and a wonderful dhal murkhani
