The chicken in the sweet and sour chicken is like rubber. Didn't see any egg in the egg fried rice either. This meal used to be nice but was disgusting today.
I have eaten chicken Chow Maine too many times to count First time i've ever used this place, First Thing that seemed wrong was the way that Soya sauce was dripping through the bag. Extremely greasy and A very upset stomach the next day. First and only time i will use this place. and more expensive than the other places that i use.
Unfortunately, not to its normal high standards, this New Year’s (perhaps because it was so busy?) I thought I ordered salt and chilli tofu and was given black bean tofu instead – also, unfortunately, the tofu wasn’t cooked well enough and had a slimy exterior rather than crispy. A real shame as that is one of my favourite dishes. Service great as always in front of house.
The staff who work here are unbelievably committed to the job, I got my order wrong and they didn't hesitate to correct it. Such good service. The food is phenomenal and the cooks who work there definitely deserve a raise. A 10/10 restaurant with no flaws at all.
Friendly and knowledgeable Food is brilliant. Cash only Even when I moved across town, still our fave takeaway. My nan ate here, my parents ate here. I believe delivery is available when you phone through your order and pay cash.
Every one likes to moan in reviews the world's gone very miserable so here's a little positivity. I'm not a big Chinese food fan I've tried various takeaways in the redditch area and they were not great. However after searching for around I tried Golden wok and must say the food was tasty well cooked and not oily at all we were very impressed.
