I don't know what has happened but the food isn't good. I ordered a meal and was really disappointed with the quality. The food was bland, and the starters set for two came all mixed together. The salt and pepper seasoning had coated everything, including the sweet and sour balls and spring rolls, ruining the individual flavours. Everything was overcooked, overly fried, dry, and honestly quite unappealing to look at because it was all thrown together. I won’t be returning. A complete waste of money. I need to find another local Chinese place with quality food.

My previous review was 5 starts, but I visited last week (Friday 14th November) and ordered a 2 person spicy starter, and chow mein beef. On all previous visit, I had no complaints, and I didn't want to leave a bad review after so many good experiences. I don't have anything positive about the food on this occasion which is extremely disappointing. The first thing I noticed was that the starter selection was given in a pizza box. I can forgive this, however everything was mixed together and covered in the same spicy salt. If I was sharing with someone who was vegetarian or someone who doesn't eat pork, it would have created a big issue. The covering of everything in the same spicy salt ruined the flavour of the ribs, and the spring rolls. It was much better when everything was separated in boxes of their own. I understand it might be more costly, but I'd rather pay an extra £1-2 and get a meal I'm going to enjoy rather than throw 80% of in the bin. Such a waste of food and my money. The chow mein I thought would bring positive vibes back, however what I was met with shocks me still. There was no flavour! The noodles just tasted like oil and a little salt. I'm deeply shocked. I don't know what has changed, but lacking flavour in a noodle dish is not a good thing. It's a basic dish......I can't explain how disappointed I am in my Friday takeaway on this occasion. I won't be visiting again as I rarely buy takeaways due to be rising costs so when it's this bad, I can't justify returning and potentially wasting money again. I tried to email to offer feedback, but I received no reply so I'm restoring to leaving a Google review. I hope my review is read and the feedback is taken in to make changes. The biggest waste of £27.00 to date.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Firstly, our order was over £40 and we didn’t receive any prawn crackers like you usually would. The food was very bland and lacked flavour. The chow menu was slimey, and the pork was very tough. The curry again lacked flavour, and the chicken was bland. The only moderately good things were the crispy beef and the chips. Left very disappointed as we couldn’t finish the food, wouldn’t recommend. Lady on the phone was very pleasant and delivery was quick.

I ordered for the first and last time from here in the week. The food was terrible, I was really disappointed. Basically all meat was slimy and inedible, the beef was like old rubber. The chicken didn’t represent chicken at all, maybe it had been frozen and defrosted but it was awful. I left most of the meal unfortunately. I wouldn’t be returning there. The chips were the only part that was OK. The lady in the shop serving was very pleasant but the food was complete rubbish. I definitely won’t be going back there again.

Update 2015 Feb - wanted to give it another chance as we used to like this restaurant. There was a metal shard in my food! Uber eats was no help so we have since deleted the app. The chow main was just full of brocolli and tasted of boiled veg. Threw it away and won't order again. Oct 2024 I got food poisoning 4 days ago from here. Still suffering. Will not order from here again.

This is always our go to Chinese take away place. We have used them for many years - food is always fresh and delicious. Service is always friendly and welcoming, delivery is always good and usually quick (obviously bit longer when they are busy but they always let you know when you order) 100% recommend

Always a lovely chinese from here. The honey lemon chicken wings are especially nice and the aroma chilli chips are delicious. Recommend to anyone in the area.

This has to be the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had :-( I've tried several since moving to the area and stumbled across this place after looking at positive reviews but I must have higher expectations to say the least. The food took ages to be delivered, no big deal but the quality was absolutely diabolical. Chips were thin, dried up but soggy at the same time (I guess from the moisture and time they were left in the bag). Both Chow Mein dishes were absolutely flavourless and after a few mouthfuls were ditched. The spring roll was like it was made from batter and so hard and greasy. Mini spring rolls were like little dried up bits of cardboard. The ribs were more fat than meat but tasted ok....that was the only thing that was really edible. I know a lot of people say this but genuinely....pretty much most of it went in the bin and it was a complete waste of money. They even sent a small bag with a 'sample' of spicy chips that looked like they were a week old and microwaved. I won't be trying them again :-( having also looked at most reviews, they are clearly fake accounts.
