    My sister Got food poisoning from lucky star ! Called to tell them and got spoke to like shit. Apauled with the attitude from staff a simple sorry would have been appreciated as my sisters 20th birthday treat was spoilt due to constant sick and diarrhea! From your food confermed by doctors foood poisoning which lucky star have refused to take any accountability for. We did not want a refund but to just let them know this had happend so they could check prawns to make. Not to be called liars. Avoid !!!!! Food poisoning!!!!!!!!!!!

    Had 2 special curries and one chicken curry me and my dad had prawns in the special curry and we both ended up with food poisoning. Phoned to inform them and they shown no care and has completely disregarded it and wanted written proof of the hospital. The prawns must have been out of date or not properly cooked, my doctor confirmed it with me that it would’ve been the prawns from this shop as I’ve got server stomach cramps, sickness, diarrhoea and a fever. Disgusting service won’t use again. Only wanted to make them aware off the situation so they can change it for further orders.

    Fantastic value, had two meals (one including rice, one including noodles), as well as crispy duck. Plenty of food for what I paid. Great quality too. The delivery driver was exceptionally friendly. Highly recommended.

    EDIT: Order number - 4309788 as requested. Funnily enough, I *did* order through your website. Delivery still took 90 minutes when we live 5 minutes around the corner, kept being told it was on the way but it clearly wasn’t. Food was not great either as detailed in review, won’t be ordering again. Ordered a small chinese for two people at 19:50. Had to call up multiple times (took a very long time to get through also) because it had been way over an hour since ordering and was repeatedly told 10 minutes. This time kept passing, and I am pretty sure they didn’t have a driver available, we could’ve collected if it was easier for them! The woman on the phone did throw in some free chicken wings, which were nice. The food eventually arrived 1.5 hours after ordering. Sadly, the food was disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken was probably the highlight, and was quite nice. The Yung Chow chow mein was 95% noodles. There was barely any meat in the chow mein, and very tiny prawns. The noodles were nice, but I expected more meat. The pancake rolls were probably the worst, they are 90% beansprout (despite being advertised as chicken and pork) and they are just drenched in oil, all you can taste is oil, and your fingers get left covered in oil. I understand they are fried in oil, but the amount over the food item itself is excessive. I probably won’t be using them again as a result, and will stick to my local.

    First time ordering from here, ordered through Uber eats and the food was delicious! Delivery came within 25 minutes, good price and my husband and I will definitely be ordering from here again! Fantastic veggie options for myself and they gave us free spring rolls and prawn crackers too! Food was well portioned too so we have plenty left over too!

    Food was 10/10, absolute beautiful, struggle to find a Chinese that does bbq sauce as nice as my usual, tonight we chose to order else where and I’m glad we have, the 3in1s are absolutely delicious, and the salt and pepper chicken was made perfectly!! Not sure where everyone else has been ordering from but food is beautifully cooked!!

    Have used this Chinese Takeaway for many years, and never had an issue under the old management, it used to be the best Chinese curry takeaway in town, but, since the takeover by the new owners it's been blunder after blunder with orders. Food takes nearly an hour to get to us, forgotten bits of the orders (rice being the main thing forgotten from my orders). The curry sauce is too thick (literally can sit a fork in it upright because its half cold and set), the chips are horrible since they switched from environmentally friendly paper bags to not so environmentally friendly polystyrene trays, they get rubbery and tasteless now. It's such a shame. I will not be using them again after the farce trying to get my money back. My recommendation? To everyone reading this, avoid this Takeaway. Find another curry house somewhere. If I could rate them -5 stars I would. Terrible place now under this new management

    I ordered Beef in chilli oil tonight. Nothing could have prepared me for how tasty this dish was. It’s become my new favourite and I can’t wait to order it again. Everything else was great as always
