   We ordered four different dishes and all of them were delicious! Generous portions, fresh tasty ingredients. Lovely touch getting free prawn crackers & spring rolls! Delivery was great too! Thank you Happy Chef we will be ordering again from you very soon!

   Everything tastes the same. Hot, sour, enough msg to make you go blind and nothing individual. Salt and pepper squid has sauce and veg that tastes exactly like the kung po dishes. All my favourite dishes have been ruined by making them all with the same ingredients. The chef has no ability to cook 100 different dishes or temper the amount of spice, flavour or msg, granular flakes of msg should not be a textural enhancement in a dish, it's a flavour enhancer, not an abomination. Did i mention that all my favourite dishes taste the same? Very disappointing. Way below average.

   Awful meals, went in the bin! The sweet and sour sauce smelled like chemical cleaner and didn't taste much better. the salt and pepper spare ribs were a strange pinky red colour, tough and covered with barely cooked onions and green pepper. Used to be good when last family had it. won't be going again.

   First time take away with happy chef this evening, and I was very impressed. Delivery time was exactly what they said it would be, the delivery driver was so pleasant and polite. I had the special curry, my son had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, crispy won tons, and shared chips. My curry was the best I've ever had from a Chinese takeaway, great portion and plenty of sauce. Will deffo be using happy chef in future.

   We had lovely food from here tonight. We nearly didn't go due to some of the past reviews but I'm glad we gave it a try. Will definitely go back again, delicious and great portion sizes.

   Really really bad! Chicken chow mein was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had slimey and watery. Chicken curry was the best out of a bad bunch. Spent £27 and was offered £5 off my next visit which won’t be happening. Very poor avoid

   Very disappointing. Two small spring rolls for £4 is just plain mean. The second worst satay I've ever had, bright orange and -as per the previous reviewer- almost flavourless. In the end I put it in a pan with some peanut butter, chilli sauce, soya sauce, rice wine, salt and pepper. The staff clearly aren't tasting their cooking. Other dishes, rice and noodles were good, and I've eaten well here before- hence 3 stars.

   I can think of something rhyming with "happy" to describe this chef....Greasy, watery, absolutely no flavour to anything. Hands down the worst Chinese I've ever had. Try and tell the difference between the satay and the sweet and sour: you can't because both taste of water. Truly awful.
