The food was tasty, but the presentation was poor. We took pad Thai noodle and egg noodle dish. Pad Thai lacked peanut and little salt. But it tastes good, though. My child actually liked the egg noodle. The space is too compact, with young crowd the restaurant would be fine but with family it's little tricky. But the staff were excellent.
Been coming to this restaurant every once and then since 2019 and recently found out they have expanded. I walked in and ordered a pad Thai and it looks and tastes better than ever. The service has always been top notch and friendly.
The service is nice and the food is quite delicious. Recommend seafood ho fun, very satisfactory. The morning glory is tasty too. The environment is clean and tidy with comfortable temperature. In short, a very enjoyable meal!
I ordered prawns, pad Thai and chicken was delivered instead. I called them up as soon as I had noticed to see if I can get the food I actually ordered and they said I had to purchase another pad Thai prawns if that’s what I wanted. the receipt clearly says pad Thai prawns. however the ladies were very understanding but it was just a shame they weren’t able to fulfil my order and correctly.probably won’t order from them again
Absolutely delicious Thai food! I had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant. The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced—spicy, savory, and full of rich herbs. Every dish was cooked to perfection, especially the Pad Kra Pao and Fish salad. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Thai cuisine!
So I was travelling for work and made a very last minute reservation over the phone, and I was not disappointed ... I was greeted by a slightly stroppy girl who did need to learn how to smile more often, whereas I found the rest of the staff really nice and friendly. However having 4 members of staff on the floor, lead me to believe they were over staffed for the size. Food did not come out really quick which confused me alittle, as it came out abnormally hot which usually lead me to believe there may have been some intervention from Chef Mike? Don't get me wrong, I highly recommend this restaurant as it is one of the best Thai food experiences I have ever had, especially there duck dishes ... They just need to work on a few little things.
I recently visited "The Great Thai Restaurant" and it was a decent experience. The menu had a reasonable selection of traditional Thai dishes. For the main course, I decided to go for the green curry it was tasty but nothing too outstanding. The service was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well maintained but the atmosphere didn't have anything to impress me. Overall, The Great Thai Restaurant is pretty good. It's not the best I've been to but also its not the worst either. If you're in the area and looking for some decent Thai food it's definitely worth checking out.
I can't tell you in words how amazing all the food is ... I've been to Thailand and these flavours take you right back. The food is fresh and the staff are lovely. Don't be fooled by the hidden canteen vibe and give it a go I've been going for years and it gets better and better portion sizes are good and the Thai ice tea is delisb
