   I attempted to return a pair of waterproof walking boots because the right boot turned out not be waterproof at all. The left boot was perfectly fine. After three or four walks where I would walk across a field of wet grass my left sock was perfectly dry while my right sock was soaking wet so it was perfectly obvious that the right boot was not properly waterproofed. After having travelled all the way from Manchester to Stockport, I was told that I had to take the boots back home , clean them both thoroughly and return them to the shop so that they could be sent away somewhere to be 'tested'. For some reason it was supposed that I must have imagined that one of the boots let in water or that maybe I was wearing one of the boots wrongly so that I somehow allowed it to let in water.

   Clothes are decent but they have such a sketchy pricing system. Everything is 'massively discounted', but the prices never go back up. It's manipulative.

   I went into the shop and asked for some help to find various items. The lady who served me was friendly and listened to what I requested. There was no pressure selling and she offered sound advice. After getting some items she took me to the counter and the 2 men there were just as helpful and friendly. I would certainly go back again. Thank you to the staff.
