Went to see my mate Mart near here and stopped to get some tucker. Was decent, but not world beating. Not sure what Bret was on about when he said "go here, it's world famous"... if it is, I don't know why. The drinks are cold though so that helps.
Ordered from here as our usual Chinese was closed and having had food from here previously, sad to say the food was very poor, far too bland and very watery. I hate to give negative reviews but with the taste and price paid I really feel this place has gone downhill.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! staff are rude and not helpful at all! food was cold and soggy, disgusting. they sent me the wrong food but would not replace it because where i live is "too far" even though they delivered to me in the first place! wouldnt even give me an alternative just no and rudeness over the phone. the food is not cooked properly and is not nice at all and way to overpriced for what you get. not happy at all, spent over £20 and did not eat a thing. prawn crackers were soft and horrible. DO NOT ORDER!!!
If I could leave this place no stars I honestly would! The customer service we received tonight was appalling and the food no better. The chow mein was like slop and the chicken balls had no chicken! The best part was the prawn crackers! I placed my order so it would arrive for 7pm, I rang at 7.15 to see where it was to be told it was on its way. Fair enough. I then rang again at 7.30 as it still hadn't arrived. I then rang again at 7.35 to which they rang the driver (after I asked them to). They rang back to say it was 2 mins away making it nearly 40 minutes late. I asked what they would do if the food arrived cold (it was just warm) to which he said he didn't know, that the driver had delivered the other deliveries first and that we were too far away (12 mins) he didn't apologise and neither did the driver who threw the bag in my partners face with the comment "here!" And walked off. I will never order from here again!!
Never again. We ordered online before the restaurant even opened, for a delivery at 6.30. At 7.15 it arrived, but it was not our order. The new driver came back to collect it and said he’d be back in 15-20 minutes with our order. It did not arrive so we called to chase, to be told they were busy and our order was not even being cooked at the time, but they would try and have it to us in 20 minutes. Before the 20 minute deadline expired they called us back to say they’d cancelled the order as they couldn’t fulfil it, even though they sent the wrong one earlier. We will not be ordering from them again.
Had a delivery. First try from here and will be the last! The owner/cheff needs a slap to be honest if they think this food is good enough.I called to ask if I get chicken in the chicken balls or egg in the egg fried rice and they said if we sent more to replace they will be the same. Instead they sent something else of the value to replace and that itself was trash! Never again.
Disgusting food, if i could give 0 stars i would. Doesn’t taste of anything at all, never had food so bland it’s awful. Avoid!!!!
Bloody awful!! This is quite possibly the worst Chinese takeaway we’ve ever had. An estimate of 45 mins wait was given and after an hour and ten minutes of waiting, I called to see where the order was. They told me it hadn’t even been cooked yet. Fast forward another twenty five minutes and the order arrived…Luke warm, congealed, chicken balls looked like they’d been warmed up several times with the batter all dried out, and every bit of it was extremely greasy..so much so it ended up in the bin. Will never order from here again!
Never again will we order from this restaurant. Our order was 2 hours late and when we tried to contact them they told us our food was with the driver. 30 minutes later still no food. Contacted them again and the staff were extremely rude to us. We did not recieve the order in the end and have had to apply for a refund through just eat. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!
