Vile, came two hours late. Everything was mushy and room temperature, things had spilled or been squashed and to top it off found half a wig in my noodles.
Nipped in for a quick tasty tea after a couple of drinks next door. Firstly I know cash is king, but there’s no option it’s cash or nothing. Luckily husband was still in the next door pub so I could get cash from him. £19.20 later we received a munchy box with curry sauce and sechuen ( can’t spell it) king prawn sauce with rice. All the munchy box was over fried, the crispy chicken was just crisp and no chicken. The curry sauce was split and mainly oil. There was a fishy smell from the chicken balls and the rice. The schezuen prawns was stupidly hot and full of chilli’s with again a fishy smell (not the prawns) the prawns were cold inside and clearly not cooked through from frozen. The spring rolls had no filling, the ribs were dry and stringy. Ended up throwing majority of the food as the rice turned our stomachs with the fish smell. Absolutely would not ever return even for a bag of plain chips.
Absolutely disgusting! Dry over cooked black ribs! Only two chicken balls on a munchy box! Plain dry chips what happened to the salt and pepper chips over cooked over fried disgusting arrived fast but fried to death! Vile made me feel ill!
Order from here a few times in the past and never had any issues. Fast service, correct order. Tonight - I ordered through just eat just like any other time, within 40 minutes our food was here, unfortunately the order was wrong. Gave me 2 boiled rice instead of 1 boiled rice & 1 egg fried rice, also I asked for curry sauce and was given OK sauce. My husband phoned up to request the correct food. After almost an hour later my food was delivered for the second time, this time correct. BUT the delivery guy said “Iv been asked to collect the other portion of rice” this took me by surprise as I’d already put it in the bin. Why would they ask for the rice back? Makes me wonder what they actually do with the food the customers actually give back. Any food touched by any customer should be binned not sent back to the restaurant for them to potentially use on another order. Anyway, told the delivery drive that I’d put it in the bin. He said he would let the restaurant know. Unfortunately after tonight, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again, especially with the thought in my head about what they do with food customers send back.
Received food and absolutely fuming. £80 order, asked specifically for NO meat in the broccoli stir fry..because I have two vegetarians in the house..the order came with 2 whole tubs of meat with about 3 bits of broccoli in both..the chicken chow mien tasted so burnt! Could even taste it. Chicken balls are extremely burnt on the outside but undercook in the inside..rice was stuck together will post a pic below. Very rude staff too, feel sorry for the new girl behind counter.Overall disgusting and would not recommend.
Second time ordering and not disappointed, very tasty, good portion size and within the delivery time, chips not upto much but won't stop us ordering.
Ordered on just eat. Took over two hours to come. We called repeatedly and kept being met with ‘we’ll call you back’- of course they didn’t. Eventually I did end up losing my temper where they panicked and handed the phone to a random customer because he ‘speaks better English’ in which, of course, the customer and myself were very confused at the situation we ended up in. According to the customer I was now on the phone with the staff the went and hid in the back and left him on his own. The customer I was on the phone with found a number for the driver and it conveniently turned up soon after, after waiting for 2 hours and 5 minutes (we’re less than 4 miles away from them). So not only have they royally messed up our order they’ve implicated some poor random guy waiting for his dinner. Do not buy from here, the are scammers. We have contacted Just Eat for a full refund.
