Visited on a Saturday night and the place was nice and busy. Service was maybe a teeny bit slow, but each course arrived fairly quickly. Starters of french onion soup and cheesy mushrooms were very nice. We both had moulles et frites, which was a huge portion of mussels. A bit of grit in the mussels (which you always get but this was perhaps a little bit too much). Still, excellent food and service, and we would definitely return.

Recommended by friends and our B&B hosts whilst visiting the fireworks competition in Southport. Amazing food and service. An easily missed gem on Lord street, but well worth a visit. Great food made to order from a good menu. Highly recommend. It was nice to meet the Chef who came out to see if all was OK too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chez Moi, a charming French cuisine restaurant that offered an exquisite two or three-course meal. We started with Prawn cocktails & Chicken liver pΓ’tΓ© which were so fresh and flavorful. For main, we opted for the pan-fried Salmon fillet & grilled Lamb chops which were perfectly cooked and delicious. We concluded our meals with Chocolate profiteroles & a cup of Espresso. Chez Moi exceeded my expectations with its exquisite food, elegant presentation, and charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in authentic French cuisine.

You don’t find many places like this anymore, not in England anyway. It’s a small, independent, friendly place where you feel genuinely welcome and the food is great too. The guy who owns it/runs it is so kind to everyone and nothing is too much trouble. It’s not going to win a Michelin star, but actually that’s a failure on the part of Michelin rather than this restaurant, because small independent places that cook good food day in, day out, ought to be recognised more. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to eat when I’m visiting my friend in Southport.

Excellent food and service. In particular the steak and chips were sublime and would definitely return. A great atmosphere and a family friendly vibe.

Our first time eating here - we ate at lunchtime on 09/11/22. Wait on staff (maybe the owner) was welcoming and very efficient in a calm way, dressed very smartly and was attentive to customer requirements. We had a 2 course meal each. For starters we had Tomato soup and homemade meatballs - both very nice. Our mains were lamb chops, peas, carrots and French green beans with a mint gravy, which was delicious. The accompanying chips (in a separate basket) unfortunately were overcooked and crispy - both left majority of these, it would have been nice if there had been a selection of potatoes to choose from but a set menu is what we went for. Food was freshly cooked, which was nice. If you want a quick meal in five minutes this place is not for you - the pace of the food being cooked and served was individual depending on your dish. All food was cooked as the orders went in. If you fancy a pasta or rissoto dish there is a menu for this too. Steak night specials is on a Thursday's after 5pm if anyone is interested. The two course meal is Β£12.95 (3 course Β£15.95) there is a surcharge of Β£5 for a 9oz steak and Β£3.50 for the chops. Looking at the meals other patrons had they looked plentiful. Drinks are the usual higher priced and on par as all restaurants charge. The atmosphere was relaxed, the decor is a restful hue of greens, cream and white. I am hoping this restaurant has a loyal base of local patrons and steady flow of customers as we would like to return here when we next visit Southport.

Birthday dinner for hubby. Enjoyed 3 wonderful courses all expertly cooked and served up. Clean, warm and friendly and the best food we ate in Southport at an affordable price. .. wish we had found it sooner.
