We had an outstanding meal here, starting with the pizzas. They are the proper, authentic kind—perfect crust, fresh toppings, and cooked just right. The pasta was equally impressive. I highly recommend the pappardelle with porcini mushroom sauce; the sauce was incredibly rich and flavorful—truly delicious. To top it all off, they serve my favorite dessert, affogato! It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. If you're looking for genuinely amazing Italian food, great service, and that perfect affogato finish, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

We were in Notting Hill and everything around us looked like just pubs with people drinking. I’m not a drinker, I enjoy just plain good food and was happy to find this place to be quiet and only one set of customers in there having dinner. So we tried it. We ordered the grilled octopus and the Napoli pizza. Definitely good. Especially the pizza. I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars but a good solid 4. Which is pretty good in my books.

I’ve eaten many neapolitan pizzas but can with confidence say this was the best one - great soft dough , high quality mozzarella and delicious olive oil. Arrabiata pasta was simple yet delicious thanks to the rich taste of tomato sauce. Prices aren’t low but worth it. The waitress was sweet and kind :-) 100% recommend !!

My wife and I were looking for an Italian restaurant on a Saturday night. We had forgotten to make a reservation. We were walking around Notting Hill and found Saporitalia! It was busy so didn’t think we’d get a table but they fit us in. It was an excellent meal with attentive staff! The restaurant was cozy and created a great ambiance. The portions were quite big and every dish we had was delicious (margarita pizza, prosciutto and melon, gnocchi pesto)! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in London!

This gem is easily missed when walking along Portobello Road. I found it when doing an online search for the best pizza near me. We ordered a Margherita pizza to go. Once we devoured that, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant the next night. What a great decision. The calamari, pastas, and dessert were all delicious. Service was great and atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. A great find.

Remembered this place being the old Goode and Wright, but wandered in randomly, and absolutely loved it. A huge wood-fired pizza oven rolls out delicious pizzas, and I watched a fantastic-looking spaghetti vongole go by. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside and everyone seems to be Italian. Will return, great atmosphere, delicious yummy food.

The restuarant is beautifully decorated, simple, quaint and welcoming. The service is good as well, both waitresses and the waiter were pleasant and accomodating. However the food and drinks were a let down, the ham and melon was delicious, small in portion for some people but worked for us smaller people. The pasta dishes we had were underwhelming sadly, pasta was overcooked. The drinks were very diluted, barely tasted the lychee after a tipple, it was literally 95% tonic water, which is outrageous when they charge 10.50. And there was plenty of space but we sat just by the door which is very irritating in the winter when people constantly leave it open. A let down sadly, was expecting so much more

What a beautiful restaurant. A piece of authentic Italy on the Portobello road. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The chef is friendly and came out to great us and offered to make us a special fresh Italian salad that was off menu. Absolutely divine. the house wine is absolutely delicious and the chef takes pride in his work, the pasta was made that morning and you can taste the difference in every bite. Highly recommended !

Very charming little Italian on Portobello road with friendly staff, a jolly vibe, and excellent pasta. Pro tip: ask for the specials of the day, they tend to be.. well, special. We had the portobello mushroom pasta and the lobster pasta, both delicious. - The portobello mushroom pasta: very buttery and flavorful, those mushrooms are so delicate but at the same time satisfying. I don’t know what went into the seasoning and the sauce but it all works. - The Lobster pasta: Saporitalia went for the big guns here. I suddenly see in front of me a giant lobster on a plate, with some pasta underneath. The pasta was good, but the lobster was definitely the star of the show. The meat was fresh and juicy, and combined really well with the rest of the dish. Some of the best lobster I’ve had in London.

I have to say, we have concluded that this is the best meal in an Italian restaurant that we have had in London/outside of Italy. Our food was absolutely outstanding, so full of flavour and very clearly full of high-quality ingredients, including the most beautiful, fresh seafood. I was blown away by the seafood, actually! I usually struggle to find restaurants that ensure good quality and fresh seafood but Saporitalia pulled out all the stops. We loved our dishes - baked aubergine and mussel soup for starter, then the truffle pasta and seafood linguini. So rich in flavour, we were genuinely so impressed and enjoyed every last morsel! The staff were lovely and the service was so friendly with an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, and there was a lovely feel about the wooden interior. Absolutely will be back!
