Had takeaway from this place for the first time since moving in and I only wish we had tried it sooner! Very very delicious food (4 cheese gnocchi, Napoli pizza, Parmigiana pizza) and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you

We had a lovely dinner here. Independently run by warm and friendly couple. The food was superb including delicious pasta, authentic Sardinian local dishes, and yummy wine. We will definitely come back.

We’ve been visiting this restaurant for a few years now, and it has never disappointed us. My favorite dishes are their vegetarian pizza and the seafood salad. The pizza is the best I’ve ever had in London, and the salad is always fresh. I can never resist their Tiramisu either. Although the waitress may seem moody at first, she is incredibly friendly once you get to know her. She is always so lovely with my 6-year-old, and they have become such good friends that my child wants to go in and say hi every time we walk past the restaurant. It’s truly a friendly, family-oriented place, and we need more restaurants like this in East Dulwich.

The food was incredible! The chef makes the pasta and sauces daily and you could absolutely tell. We had the gnocchi Al la sorrentina Which was some of the best gnocchi I've ever tasted in my life. The sauce was a silky smooth and tasteful tomato sauce with a fantastic amount of cheese. We also had the carbonara which was excellent. Overall it was some of the best pasta I have had. The lady serving us was so friendly and polite and overall it was an excellent experience. Unfortunately, I had eaten half of the gnocchi before I even thought to take a photo of it. My dad had the pork special which he said was fantastic, the pork was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious.

An intimate, understated restaurant with great food, fabulous service and overall good vibes. Dined here with my partner, he had the Calabrese pizza and I had pasta, we both left absolutely stuffed! Oh and fabulous aperol spritz’s! We will definitely be back.

The waitress Valeria is such an amazing, friendly person that I now feel I can call her a friend. Her partner Pasquale is the most incredible chef. We have had seafood linguine fresh from the sea in Crete and we still prefer Pasquale’s. The way he makes his salads, no one else can touch how good he is with food. The calamari is home made, so delicious with home made tartare sauce. They get their produce from Italy and you can tell. Everything is fresh and exceptional. People come from all over London to go to il Mirto because they know how good the food is and reasonably priced. It’s a hidden gem. Our favourite restaurant hands down and we love Valeria and Pasquale, the owners.

This place was great! An amazing surprise to find this little restaurant. It is small but the food tastes like your Italian grandma cooked it herself! The service was good and the atmosphere was very cosy. I would go back without hesitation!

I always went here pre pandemic, and the food and ambience was lovely. Went for lunch 2 weeks ago, the waitress could not have been nicer but the food was very disappointing. The bruschetta had bread the thickness of doorstops and the tomatoes were tasteless. My pasta was overcooked, wont be returning and I am very sad.
