What an absolute pleasure to experience the Kaiseki set menu at Angelina! I wanted to treat my friend who loves high quality food that isn’t fussy or gimmicky. I think this perfectly describes the meal we had. Each course had a perfect balance between flavours and texture, often with something subtly surprising thrown in. The service was excellent too, warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding. Loved every second of our experience here - food is divine, menu put together beautifully. The fusion of japanese and italian was a dream come true. Every dish was delicious and the service was amazing - staff were so attentive. Wine also paired and presented beautifully. My friend had the regular menu while I had the vegetarian and I was honestly amazed at how beautiful it all was and how attentive they were to this too! We sat at the chefs counter and it was such a great experience to watch food being prepared. Such a cosy interior too with comfortable seating. Will definitely be coming back & highly recommend.

Sophisticated fine dining venue that works beautifully for special occasions, even with larger groups. The tasting menu cleverly weaves Asian aromatics into Italian foundations. Cocktails and tea service bookend the meal nicely. The smoked focaccia and strawberry-sauced raw fish were our evening's highlights - creative and expertly executed. The pasta course was excellent, though the grilled quail felt somewhat predictable for this calibre of menu. One of the starters being another fried item seemed like a missed opportunity for more variety. For the price point, it delivers solid value and a memorable experience. Staff are exceptional - knowledgeable about every dish and genuinely passionate. Arrive early and you might snag counter seats with kitchen views, which adds to the experience.

2pax dinner on 25.7.2025 @Angelina Restaurant came with good expectations japanese italian omakase 13dishes £68pax the place was packed, always a good thing. F&B a tough business, always good to see support of customers. service by the young, cheerful, bright serving staff was excellent. for ourselves though, went away kind of unsatisfied…. 3 appertisers - a bread, a lamb karraage, furai fritters etc.. ok, competent not quite fine dining dishes..ok, need reset expectations vs the price. crudo and pane - foccacia good, amadai good sashimi, sweet and fresh, sauce neither here nor there not quite our liking, a simple truffle kampachi type would be better for us. summer salad ordinary, sesame sauce heavy, ok not great by our preference. chawanmushi has good hotate (scallops) and truffle, competent texture, for us missing the natural broth sweetness in most jap restaurants. chawanmushi served in a completely chipped ramekin 体无完肤. the ravioli? was good, great pasta, good sauce. pigeon sous vide grilled on binchotan best dish, excellent taste and perfect texture, pink and nice bbq flavours. sauce was rich, tasty, not sure the best match for the pigeon. tiny shrimps ok doesn’t add any dimension to the dish? confit fig was good. desserts/petit four pretty good.

My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Angelina in London, and I can't recommend this restaurant enough! It's a small, intimate space offering an innovative menu that blends Japanese and Italian cuisines. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting ambiance, which is enhanced by the sleek marble counter and the open kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work. I loved the cozy and intimate atmosphere of Angelina. The noise level is conversation-friendly which makes it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with good friends. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our server was happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. It felt like they were genuinely interested in making sure we had a great dining experience, which really added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Of course, the real star of the show at Angelina is the food. We opted for the longer, 10-course Kaiseki menu, which was excellent value for the quality of the dishes. In fact at this caliber the price of £64 struck me as too good to be true. The pasta dishes were particularly memorable - I could taste the attention to detail that had gone into each dish. But really, everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented, from the appetizers to the desserts. The combination of Italian and Japanese cuisines was unique and refreshing, and I appreciated the thought that had gone into each dish. Overall, my experience at Angelina was truly exceptional, and it's a restaurant that I would happily return to should I make my way to London again. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience in London that won't break the bank, Angelina is definitely worth a visit!

Excellent tasting menu, super friendly staff with great atmosphere and decor. Overall I had a great experience, the price fairly reflected the quality of the food which can be hard to find around London. The Italian and Japanese fusion which was intriguing and well executed however some dishes missed the mark, but when you have 10 courses it happens. Sitting outside was cosy with the heaters and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wanted to come here about two years ago but it was pandemic and didn’t get the chance to come. Decided to try their tasting menu experience and been mind blowing on the food taste for this. Great staff experience the chef was explaining to us the dishes and felt like the master chef experience in the restaurant. Good selection mixture of the food with blended Japanese and Italian influence to this. Would recommend others to visit here for sure and do make your booking in advance for this.

Such a lovely experience at Angelina! Everything from the decor, service and food was absolutely stunning. We took the 4 course tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious, with multiple starters to try from. I really enjoyed the Italian and Japanese fusion which was really subtle but so well executed! Couldn't recommend more for a romantic date

The idea of mixing Italian cuisine with Japanese ingredients is genius. However, whilst some of the dishes hit that high, there were a few misses and the pacing of the meal felt a little rushed. Still very good value for 10 courses.
