It was tastefully decorated...food was good but rice were bit cold and there was no tomato sauce with mandi... Service was amazing and staff helped us make the right choice as my boy suffers from multiple food allergies.
Woow It so clean and beautiful inside. They have ladies and family area too The toilet and hand wash Area is clean. The food was nice and one of the best rice in small heath.
Brilliant Restaurant, has floor seating and booths as well as general seating area The food was amazing, we tried the Lamb Mandi, Sharwama Wrap, Fries, Falafel and Harira Soup. All items we tried were amazing 10/10 We will definitely be coming back to this Jem on Coventry Road
The restaurant looks really nice since the recent refurbishment, beautiful and clean with great service and pricing for the portion served. Family rooms cater for a more private setting for sisters which is considerate and the food is soo flavoursome (I recommend the lentil soup to start with and for mains, chicken wings). Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes :)
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! There are separate rooms in which we can dine on the floor or Table. The food is pretty good, with some Middle East classics and some twists, and for their prices, it’s 100% worth it.
This end of Coventry road is full of options for food places so we were spoilt for choice. We checked a few reviews and walked in to Syrian house and it didn't disappoint. Only slight complaint was that on the platter we literally got about 3 prices of shawarma. The grilled chicken was soft lamb was tender, rice was good a bit too much gingery taste but was still nice.
Syrian house is the best arab restaurant in Birmingham, chef Aziz is very skilled and a pleasure to deal with, he's kind and takes a lot of pride in his food. I ordered 2 whole lambs with rice for a dinner party and everything was delicious. The lamb was stuffed with vine leaves which was a great touch. He added complimentary salads and 3 grilled chickens as well. I highly recommend Syrian House for eat in, take away and catering.
Came with family, seated promptly. The private rooms are very cramped so avoid. Bit of miss communication while ordering, but food was nice apart from chicken shish. Sea bass was good and the drinks.
This place is on our repeat visits. The food was outstanding. Everything was so flavoursome. The atmosphere was on point and the staff were just so fab. Would recommend to anyone who wants to go out for some good food. The lamb was soooo soft, the shawarma was so tasty. Best shawarma I’ve ever tasted. Had a hint of lime and garlic which made it even more perfect. The portion size was just perfect for the three of us. Thanks again.
