Came for the pumpkin picking with the kids which was great, 2 pumpkins, able to sit in all the tractors, they empty the content of the pumpkins and you get to carve them for less than £20 absolutely fantastic!! We decided to book in for some dinner after which to be honest wasn’t the best experience, I won’t go into to much details as we spoke to them. But I will say the restaurant manager (I am presuming) was extremely accommodating he really tried to rectify our experience for us and gave us a generous voucher to rectify which we wasn’t expecting nor was looking for. We just wanted to make them aware of what happened but anyhow I would definitely visit again as I have visited once before and it was delicious, every restaurant has there off days and it’s how they rectify it is what’s important. So thank you anyhow!!

We came across this centre after seeing the sign for a cafe - but this is so much more than that. As well as a gorgeous garden centre, there is a roomy restaurant with a very full menu of traditional food - we had the very tasty cheese and onion pie and the best home made coleslaw in the world. The service was top notch - friendly and attentive - and we even went mad and had a dessert. Their range of cakes was just gorgeous. The shop/deli is filled with so many tempting goodies and everywhere looked clean and tidy. Will definitely return here again asap!

We have recently purchased 120 rolls of turf and 12 ton of topsoil from Lymefield to help transform our garden. After a lot of research we ended up looking round our local garden centre for ideas. Rob and co really went above and beyond with their customer service. They talked us through the whole process and discussed our options in great detail and made recommendations of what would work in our garden and what wouldn’t work. After agreeing what we needed all the product came the following week. When we put down all the soil we quickly realised we hadn’t bought enough soil so immediately ordered 4 more ton. Rob understood our needs and delivered it the same day which was amazing and enabled us to crack on with it. Overall we were very happy with the product supplied and the customer service we received. The photos attached to the review were from when the turf and soil were delivered, after 12 ton of soil was put down, once the turf was put down, 3 1/2 weeks after laying and after the first cut. We are very happy the way it’s turned out.

Lovely staff in the cafe. In fact I wouldn’t call it a a cafe. I would call it a cafe I wold call it an restaurafe. The only down side was our drinks ( mine an extra hot cappuccino) was sat waiting for the waitress to take it to me. Therefore, it was cold when it reached our table. We were very close too where they make the coffee. The food was lovely and I was provided with with a bag for the other half of the wrap I couldn’t eat so I could take home. The Butcher’s had an amazing array of meat. The steak beef burgers that I bought were the best that I have ever tasted. The young lad that served me was very knowledgeable too. The staff in the grocery department were brilliant too especially when I asked the lady for ‘a quarter’ of pear drops ( I’m old school at 53) she didn’t bat an eyelid and gave me my (quarter) of sweets. What can I say? 24ct gold service.

More of a farm shop than garden centre. But the cafe is great. Food lovely, hot and fresh great cake selection.

Very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the beef and red onion marmalade sandwiches for a takeaway....absolutely delicious and fresh! The cakes were very tasty (carrot cake & chocolate cake). Would happily return when in the area again.

Unbelievable how many services this little 'garden centre' offers. Cafe, butchers and shop with beautiful produce. The events they hold are always good fun, great value and often for charity(fayres and pumpkin patches etc). It seems to get busier and busier and the staff there take it their stride and are so friendly. It'd be a huge asset to any village.

Very nice and friendly garden cafe. Well presented and tasty food. From my point of view, need improvement on timings as the difference between drinks and food was more than 20min.
