Went today in a group of 5. Took an hour to receive our food, which came out lukewarm, and half a portion. Took staff 25 minutes to realise they only had one brownie. Woman behind counter was more interested in her phone than helping, and other member of staff basically threw our plates at us. Wouldn't bother going here again, since they updated the ordering process and layout, standards have gone through the floor.

New staff don’t seem to know what they are doing. 10 tables FULL of dirty pots. Place is a mess. No numbers at the tills. Food arrived after second attempt as they came with a different order. Still waiting for drinks halfway through eating food. Takes two people to bring two drinks to a table. Giy coeaning tables kept disappearing leaving trolley next to tables and was so slow I think he forgot what he was doing.

Tesco do better. Now, a friend ordered big breakfast, we didn't know it came with oil soaked toast. He couldn't eat it, so we asked for a normal toast instead. The poor lady insisted that what we ordered but it was so bad he couldn't eat it. So she ended up giving us 2 sad slices of bread out her " her good will" Now, Tesco make it clear that your fried bread swims in oil . Some of us have heart problems. Also, at that price in any restaurant we should make some minor changes, it's not as if we are familiar with your menu. Thanks to the lady despite her condescending tone. We were starving.

Poor. I was served a cold, rubbery, out of the bag croissant (for £1.75!). I've asked the staff if they could warm it up, but they refused. £4.95 for a black coffee and a (poor) croissant, Costa prices but without the standards.

Used to be a nice place for breakfast but since they updated the menu and prices it has gone downhill. £2.25 for a can of soft drink is outrageous, my daughter used to get avocado on toast which was two slices of toast but now it's only one slice but it's still £6.

We only ever stop here to enjoy the English breakfast which is always served quickly and perfectly cooked. The staff are always friendly and helpfull and the cafe tables chairs and surroundings are always spotlessly clean.

I ordered food for my child's birthday party. Staff were great and the manager was extremely professional kind and helpful. Each of the 15 children ordered a different meal with different sides and I worried that orders would be mixed..but everything was perfect and each meal came in a lovely box labeled with the child's name which made it so much easier for me. My son had a sweet "happy birthday" message on his box :) and we got an extra big free box of chips! Food was great (quality and quantity ) and it was all ready on time. The cafe is very clean. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Staff were lovley, the lady serving was very polite and friendly when ordering and when I left. Full marks for the staff. Only dropped 2 stars because of the price.

I’ve just waited for 15 minutes to get to the front of the cafe queue. I ordered a tea and a jacket potato and get told it’s another TWENTY MINUTES for food!!!! It’s supposed to be a cafe for goodness sake .
