Very nice looking place, however since the refurbishments the price of the Welsh rarebit has increased to £9. It is nowhere near as good as they used to be. Very basic cheese on toast now filled out with a portion of chips. Sadly 'all top drawer...'

A significant deterioration in quality over a mere 8 weeks earlier. Cakes for the afternoon tea were all bought in Aldi items which were really not befitting of an afternoon tea, sandwiches poor. On the upside the staff were pleasant enough and the environment neat and tidy.
