One of the most unspoken things about any cafe is the level of service. Today I was served by Jodie. She was upbeat, smiling and an absolute example of how to show up to a customer. She may go through her day with no one mentioning it, but a smile is catching. Thanks Jodie. You never know when or who might need your lightheartedness. Oh and Nero’s … they do a delicious Vegan Raspberry croissant, which I highly recommend.

I was genuinely disappointed with my recent visit to Café Nero. The overall cleanliness was extremely poor, and it made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. There were crumbs and visible dirt on almost every table, and the sofas looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, with dust and old crumbs embedded in the fabric. Even more concerning, I noticed cobwebs in the corners and flies hovering near the food preparation area — which is completely unacceptable in any food establishment. It didn’t feel like basic hygiene standards were being met at all. I left without finishing my food because I simply couldn’t relax or enjoy the environment. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses the cleanliness issues immediately. Café Nero usually has a good reputation, but this location really let the brand down.

As always, Nero is the best for me. I have visited most of their branches in Manchester. I always get a flat white coffee from them. My husband loves Nero’s chai latte. He says Nero’s chai latte is the best.

Rude staff and dirty toilets. It was a busy Saturday morning. The queue was so long and there were only two baristas serving. One of the girls was lovely. She was always smiling. The other girl who served me looked pissed. She was rude. Maybe she was having a bad day. Or Caffè Nero should send more staff to help on busy Saturdays ! I wanted to use the toilet but it was in a non usable state …. Didn’t even want to look at it. I know it’s not the staffs fault, it’s the customers who didn’t care about others.

First time at Neros , although I'm not keen on the aftertaste of the coffee that's just my personal taste . The texture of the latte was gorgeous and the coffee tasted nice as I say it was just the after taste for me . Loved the shop and atmosphere. Staff were really nice .

Very friendly helpful staff. I was juggling baby grandson and sound support dog - they welcomed me and brought me my drink to the table. Appreciated.

No vegan lunch options :( Literally nothing in the fridge. Just an overpriced, small sausage roll on the counter and sometimes there's a croissant. But no sandwich or toastie or something. It's all animal products.

Twice in recent weeks I have been here for the £1 3 app deal for any drink. I of course opted for the expensive drink, Frappe creme and both times was excellently prepared and served and I enjoyed. Great service thanks

This the most disgusting coffee shop I have ever visited. This is due to the fact that this coffee shop allows dirty dogs in, which makes you want to puke your coffee out when you see them. It’s horrible. Why would you allow dogs in a coffee shop? Where is the hygiene? Absolutely revolting. Would never visit this store again. The staff were rude too. They don’t even clean and dry the trays properly. Our coffee was served on a tray drenched with water with looked yuck. The shop is old and tacky and in dire need of refurbishment. Only good thing is the Caramel Latte is nice.
