Nice Cafe area and staff but the toilets were absolutely disgusting and stunk. They were not clean but filthy and looked really decrepit with water or something else on the toilet floor. No soap and the the soap dispenser was broken with no paper towel to dry your hands. Wouldn't use again.

We needed a coffee and this was one of the cafés open 7.30 on a Sunday morning. We arrived feeling very jaded but soon discovered that the grim exterior didn't match the warm welcome inside. Freshly baked pastries. Good tea and coffee served in proper cups and mugs. Lovely gentle music played perfect for an early Sunday morning. Highly recommended.

First of all, we like Cafe Nero because it's probably the only coffee chain in the UK that actually knows how to make real coffee. This is our go-to branch by choice because of the way it's ran and the customer service. The branch manager is a classy gentleman who knows a lot about coffee and is always very friendly. The staff there is clearly trained really well, too. Now, what we like about this branch is that they have everything! I can't remember one time that they were missing a syrup. Pistachio, honeycomb - it's all there, always there. Also, I love the fact that when you order a coffee they make sure to remind you that there is a single-origin option. It's easy to forget and it tastes SO MUCH BETTER!

Caffè Nero – Disappointing Experience I recently picked up two large mochas from Caffè Nero—one for myself and one for a colleague—on the way to work. Unfortunately, the experience left me quite disappointed. The drinks felt unusually light, but I was in a rush and didn’t have time to check properly before leaving the shop. Once I got to the office, I was surprised to find that my cup was less than half full. Despite ordering a large, it wasn’t even close to a small in quantity. It felt like a careless oversight, and frankly, not what I expect from a brand like Nero. To add to the frustration, the staff member who served me an American-accented barista seemed unsure of what she was doing. There was a lack of attentiveness and professionalism that really stood out. I usually enjoy Nero’s coffee, but this experience was a letdown. I hope the team takes more care in future, especially during busy hours when customers rely on consistency and quality.

Always nice, today we had two large caramel biscuit lattes, the brownies & the milk chocolate cookie.

out on a saturday doing bit of shopping when the wife and I decided to stop for a coffee seeing that it was a lovely sunny afternoon we decided to sit outside and do a bit of people watching. The one thing we noticed was how dirty the floor was with cigarette butt's / paper tissues all over the floor . Now yes this place gets busy as it's in a great location in Manchester city centre. but surely someone could go out and give the floor a quick sweep I mean how long we talking people 5 mins every so often to keep the outside as good as the inside so come on Caffè Nero don't just think about serving as many people as possible im sure people don't mind waiting abit if they know you are collecting coffee cups & plates & sweeping the outside. lets help keep Manchester clean and tidy so do your bit have a quick check ever hour on the outside It's a great place for relaxing as great coffees on offer & rolls & pastries. will go back for a coffee as overall its an ok place nothing special. and the prices are not that bad

The most disgusting Cafe Nero I have ever been. This is a disgrace and th3 place should be closed down. The smell coming out of the toilet, made my stomach turn. No hygiene at all. This will have to be reported to authorities and end this place once for all.

Staff are kind, the place was clean and the coffee was fairly good! Quite nice to seat upstairs. Good overall.
