   My friend and I took our 6 year old daughters to the Funky Monkey Christmas party yesterday and what an absolute blast we had! There were fun games and prizes for the kids, plenty of choice from the menu for the kids to choose from and they even got to meet Santa and get a special gift! Our girls absolutely loved their time, and us mums and dads had so much fun too. We even won a prize as adults and can’t wait to have our beautiful Christmas cupcakes!! The staff are wonderful here, and you’re literally made to feel part of the Funky Monkey family from the moment you step in the door! Our food was delicious - we would particularly rate the latte and the banana and toffee muffin and I am looking forward to coming back to try even more from the menu. Thank you so so much to the team for hosting such a fun event last night, you could tell a lot of heart and hard work went into this and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We really hope you’ll host this again next year and in the meantime we will definitely be back for more tea, coffee and treats! Merry Christmas to you all!

   One of the vibiest cafes in Stockport. Must try. The staff are really courteous and fresh. Thes service is really great. The food is worth the price with really good portions. The mochas we tried were really good as well. Overall very well recommended !

   We visited Funky Monkey yesterday as a table of 6 and a dog (including a 3yo) when over all the way from Hartlepool to visit family, and we had a such a lovely time. The food was absolutely perfect and we were spoilt for choice with options. The café itself was gorgeous and my LO loved spotting all the monkeys he could see, so much we had to get him a monkey and a t-shirt to bring home. We were seated, served, and fed with no issues thanks to the lovely staff and will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

   Lovely cafe. The food is AMAZING! Each and every item on their menu is worth trying! (I die for their loaded jacket potatoes) Love the fresh orange juice, hot chocolate. Clearly, everything I’ve tried so far has never disappointed me. . The only drawback is the wait time. They take forever to get your order. Food is definitely worth the wait but sometimes the wait time gets on your nerves (specially when you’re here off your night shift for a nice breakfast) Rush hours tend to get super busy and the food is even more delayed. Tip: Book a table in advance just to be safe and to avoid the waiting time to be seated (on top of waiting for your food forever)

   Absolutely love it here. Went last week for the first time in a couple of years and the layout has really improved, felt more spacious. Very child friendly too . The staff were lovely and the food and drinks were great!

   I love it here. Lovely food, great atmosphere and (mostly) lovely staff. I did have one occasion when I went in with my newborn and a member of staff told me I shouldn’t breastfeed as it makes them clingy, I should switch to a bottle. As a new mum, who was already weary of breastfeeding in public, this wasn’t what I wanted to hear! Otherwise though, the other staff are lovely!

   Excellent place with a lively and fun atmosphere. Great food. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Good vegan options and cakes too. Really nice coffee. This is my local. Make it yours too.
