I don't tend to write reviews but I was quite taken by this cute little cafe near the town square. Best hot chocolate I've had in a long time - just what we needed after a long autumnal hike in the Peak District.

Popped in for a hot chocolate and coffee , was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and was the perfect place to visit to start the day.

My family and I decided to pop in for a bite to eat and a drink. The service and the food were excellent. The cafe felt very unique and we loved the option of being able to play the piano!

I visited this cafe with a friend for brunch on a late Sunday morning. With the classical music on in the background and the gentle conversations from the other diners, it felt so relaxing. The owners were lovely. The food was delicious. We had eggs benedict and French onion soup. The coffee was lovely too. I will be definitely visiting again.

Amazing hot chocolate! Lovely cakes! Such nice people running it and nicely themed, music makes it very relaxing. Highly recommend. Dogs allowed and had treats! Also good for children. All round perfect.

I happened across this cafe today. They are working hard to measure up to their values and doing well. Delicious coffee and honey cake made by the owner. What a pleasure to chat with guests whilst someone plays the piano. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly and ethical. I shall be back this week. I wish them success in their endeavours.

Absolutely gorgeous cafe. The food (home made cakes, croissants etc.) and coffee are excellent (beans roasted by the cafe themselves!), and there are a wide range of other drinks, such as luxuriant hot chocolate, beautiful home blended Chai, iced teas and more. All this coupled with live piano music, poetry nights, self published book library and a warm welcome from owners Charlotte and Daniel. You must give this place a visit. You won't regret it. Wood fired pizza comng soon too!
