Took 30 minutes for a sausage and spam barm. The place was empty when we walked in. The sausages are cheap and nasty, spam had no flavour and even the ketchup was run down. Another customer was waiting over 20 minutes for a coffee. Honestly will never be eating there ever again.

"I used to be a regular at 18 cafe but the atmosphere there has become really depressing. The lighting is so dim, And the service? Let's just say it's not exactly welcoming. I'm thrilled to have discovered miss lemon . It's a breath of fresh air! The bright and cheerful decor is so inviting, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They're always smiling and happy to help. I'm so happy to support a local business that clearly cares about its customers. I hope miss lemon continues to thrive."
Best burger and cheesy chips I’ve ever had! Lovely little place, would definitely go back! Our waitress grace gave excellent service too! Great value for money too! Totally recommend!
Called this morning after a long, wet walk, all ready for a hearty breakfast. I ordered the medium, and asked if I could have mushrooms instead of hash browns. Yep! All ok so far. My breakfast came within just a few minutes, with some toast & a nice mug of piping hot tea. The Sausage was a cheap nasty (probably budget) offering. The rest of the breakfast was exceptionally delicious & top quality however. Come on guys - upgrade the Sausage & its 5 stars all day long.
Great value very busy cafe. Handy for the not so salubrious Atlas doss house next door.. if needs must..

Good choice on the menu and very good quality ingredients. Also has Frederick's Icecream available which is an amazing bonus. Update April 22 - It's had a face lift! Check out the new photos. The food was delicious, plenty of quantity and of quality. Prices are also very reasonable and the fried egg was cooked to perfection.
