   Well where do I start.....I drove around looking for a cafe to cater to me and my little girl's dietary requirements, several cafe's said they cannot accommodate a vegetarian breakfast even after asking for it to be cooked separatey. Now onto a positive note I accidently came across Poppies cafe. What a breath of fresh air. I was greeted as I walked in with a smile, my little girl said 'good morning' and how lovely it was to witness the interaction between them. The staff behind the counter listened and enthusiastically accomadated our dietary needs. This cafe is clearly built on offering amazing food, great service and best of all they are a cafe which are child friendly and their ability to engage with young people is outstanding. I ordered a full vegetarian breakfast alongside with a child vegetarian breakfast. I just about finished my breakfast and my little girl just about ate half of her breakfast as the portion was definately more than we were expecting. The cafe was was well presented and clean as one would expect from a well run establishment. The atmosphere was walm and welcoming. It was consistently busy which customers coming in and take away orders being collected. The cafe has their own childrens play area, at the counter they offer colouring activities which we took full advantage of. Overall we will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend you visit. A great little cafe and perfect for families. Thank you to everyone at Poppies Cafe.

   We come regularly for breakfast, just me and my little girl, the food is always consistently nice even when it’s really busy. They welcome us every time and are really friendly. We love coming in the summer holidays for breakfast it’s our little treat x

   I pre ordered a takeaway afternoon tea for 4 and it was perfect. Fresh food, homemade scones, we loved it. It made my mum's birthday really special (about a quarter of the food is in the picture. There was LOADS)

   Been to Poppies this afternoon for a breakfast barm. Bacon was cooked to perfection (been to other places and streaky bacon can be undercooked and stringy) the farmhouse sausage were really tasty and fresh. Arguably the best coffee around too. Service was brilliant, very attentive staff. Cafe was very clean. It was great to see kids in the play area and people sat outside enjoying the sunshine. Lovely place and will definitely visit again very soon.

   Sorry but underwhelmed buy Poppies. Flat white was small,overly strong and costly compared to other cafés in the local area. Also the Ham and cheese toasties should of been served with salad and coleslaw so had to ask for this, they apparently forgot.

   The Afternoon Tea Takeaway Box is a perfect treat. The box consisted of finger sandwiches, scones, jam cream, strawberries, and cakes. All were generous size and delicious, the scones were so fresh it was as though they had just been baked. The cakes were delicious, and the sandwiches lovely and fresh. An ideal birthday treat. Well done Poppies 11!
