Costa used to be one of my favourite coffee places, but lately the service has gone downhill. The staff often chat among themselves instead of taking orders, and several times now I’ve had to return my latte because the syrup I paid for was “forgotten.” Really frustrating and disappointing experience.
Visited Costa monton this morning. Staff excellent. Walking in was like going into the office. So many table hogers. Not good.
Was served by Amelia. I said served she was rude didn’t smile or acknowledge the massive queue waiting whilst she chatted. A Sunday morning that was ruined by her attitude, ordered a tea was asked how much milk I’d like, without even putting anything in the cup.I asked if she could put tea in the cup so I could gage just like in every Costa she huffed and told me !! I could do it myself Wow normally great service here.
The usual.. great coffee and friendly emplyees. I am a fan to both Costa and Nero. The coffee is not bitter as starbucks. This tome I was lost in Manchester when leaving Trafford Center. Found this branch of costa in Eccles, had cakes and coffee, with our 4 pows friend (dog)
Shocking service, girl making the coffee couldn't muster a hello let alone a smile. Dropped our cakes on counter instead of passing them to my outstretched hand. She couldn't even be arsed to call out our order to say it's ready, as it was 8am it was quiet as. when I said thanks she literally mutter "it's alright" not looking up from the paper she was reading. shocking, £15 for the worse latte I've ever had.
If I'm honest it's like every other Costa. Busy and nice staff. A few parking spaces outside and on the side street. Seating outside on main road.
Nice Costa, pleasant staff, nice and roomy inside. Has some outside parking limited to 1 hour but. Car park close by.
After a long walk , it was great to be able to buy a coffee and a hot chocolate then relax in a fairly quiet atmosphere. Not too crowded either.
6 years of coming here regularly and I’ve seen this store go downhill. It’s dirty and scruffy looking. High staff turnover, poorly co-ordinated service. Hot food gets cold whilst you’re waiting for your drink or the other way round. You have to ask for napkins every time and at times the drink are so cold you can drink them like water. I had to walk out today leaving my teacake and coffee as it was cold and ruined the whole experience. Tired of continuously awful and poor service from my local. Apparently they are top in the sales targets with other stores but clearly quality is significantly compromised. I cannot recommend this store and would urge people to go to other stores.
Nice and tasty coffee and frappes, but the service is too slow. Shouldn't take 15 minutes to receive 2 drinks. (This happed out of peak hours so dont know the reason)
