   Hard to know how to rate this coffee shop out of 5, because on the one hand I think they have the finest offer of espresso and filter coffee in city centre. But on the other, I've had a few bad experiences in a row that I'll just stick to the office coffee machine. + Generally they have two different batch brews on each day. So nice to see love of good filter. Espresso is top notch too. Lovely building. Staff are generally great. North west indy roaster. - The food is expensive for what it is. I paid £15 for this and was still hungry. So much sympathy for hospitality venues with rising food and labour costs, but I'd rather pay another £1 and have two slices of toast... Service can be super slow when it gets busy. Most of that's unavoidable, but last two times they spent so much time talking to customers while they're ordering. Two people ahead of me gave up and I eventually left too. The last two times I've paid for a full filter coffee and got a 3/4 full cup that's gone pretty cold. Eventually, getting a cold cup of coffee and one slice of toast from a pretty premium place gets a bit frustrating.

   Pricey cafe, small portions and tense staff. I ordered 2 takeaway drinks, costed over £9. Came in specifically for the special "spiced orange mocha". Ordered a regular - what we received was much more like a small. Couldn't taste any hint of 'orange' or 'spice', and my iced chai was very weak. Staff were blunt and seemed stressed. I understand it was a Sunday but the cafe wasn't full & there was no queue at the till. Expensive prices for below average drinks, in both quality & quantity.

   Myself and my family stopped off at your Cross Street venue in Manchester. We had a lovely warm welcome at the front door and Ruby helped us find a seat that would allow us to sit as a family with a pram. We ordered coffee and decided to have Brunch, I must say the food was amazing so compliments to the chef. Our coffee was served by Catherine and I loved the attention to detail with the milk art, we all was amazed, the blend of coffee was the best I've had. All the staff made us feel welcome and included our Son in the conversation. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends.

   Had a wonderful experience this morning. Ruby welcomed me with a smile and suggested an addition to my order which was phenomenal. Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. I had a lovely conversation with all three of them after I was finished and left feeling very thankful this was the coffee shop I chose while I was in town for a day. Very personable pleasant experience

   Absolutely brilliant service, drinks and ambience too. Matt the manager couldn't have been more accommodating, allowing us to bring a well behaved dog in with us. Louis our server was so patient and polite, and our all round experience meant we came back for more than just a coffee the next day... A BSC Fry was absolutely delicious. Poached eggs to perfection and the biggest sausage I've ever seen! Thanks for making our short trip to Manchester so enjoyable guys.

   What a lovely place. I hate making decisions so love it when the staff recommend things to you. The staff member I spoke to was a delight. The staff member recommended a vanilla matcha latte with coconut milk which was great. The vibes of the place were chill so ended up staying for a batch brew coffee. This batch brew coffee. So good. Tasted amazing.
