    This is quite a small Matalan store, meaning there isn’t a wide variety of options or styles. The staff are friendly and there is the option of self-checkout but the queue can get quite long at times. There is free parking outside of the shop in the retail park. Very accessible and there is home goods/ travel located at the rear of the store and upstairs, agian with a very limited selection.

    Click and collect Tamworth, have use this a few times now and have been served by the same person who makes you feel as though you’re an inconvenience to her, she’s abrupt, no politeness, no eye contact, no manners, a smile wouldn’t hurt. I work in retail and we make very customer count, not this blonde lady sorry didn’t get her name. On a good note all the other ladies in the store have been friendly and helpful which made my experience better.

    Its a Matalan ok, but I didn't have to use the face scanner tills and a polite human served me. Nice lady advised me against taking the up escalator down, had a laugh. Gets a 4 because Matalan is obsessed with card only and ridiculously unintuitive self serve tills, but I knew they'd have a simple black, unrippable polo for the crazy Prodigy gig that night and they did. £7, can't argue with that. And The Prodigy on tour that night was intense!

    Don't like the self checkouts, made to use them. Then you have to pay for your clothes hangers 10p each. That's why we would rather shop on line, never again.

    Cheap stuff ok for everyday wear not going out clothes. Inside the shop very difficult to find what you want & when you do find something you can't find were to pay nightmare

    I love this store, lovely clothes and layout, lots of bargains. My only issue is that the self scan that they insist on is very complicated. You have to take your own tags off etc, essentially do what the person on the till is trained to do. There only one manned till which you are deterred from using and all of the self scan stations are card only. Ethically I disagree with this and refuse to use them, as they’re taking people’s jobs away. Sorry, I don’t support that and it’s just Matalan trying to save money unfortunately. My opinion of Matalan which over the years has been high has just shot down.

    Some great items in the new year's sale, and some good value clothing in the range they have available. Homewares are perhaps not as good, but there are some good items of you look hard enough. Definitely worth using your Matalan card for extra discounts and rewards.

    First time in here without following my partner around. Very Primarkish, so can understand its popularity. Couldn't spot any well known brands, but the quality of the goods appears to match the prices.
