Lovely efficient friendly staff.however the most disgusting toilet i have ever seen in a coffee shop.all the disabled grab handles are covered in rust.they are too horrid to the photo I took to send to the company. cleanliness is not down to the staff but maintenance as the tap managed to spray the floor before I went in.and it was so grubby.
I have been visiting this Costa for at least 13 years maybe more. I have always enjoyed the quality of the coffee but a couple of weeks ago I was visiting Costa with my daughters and just as I had given my order I received some unexpected news via a phone call and i had to leave the store to continue the conversation. Whilst i did this my teen daughters stayed in the store where two members of staff kindly continued to serve them their drinks and get them seated. When I returned into Costa, the two members of staff could see i was overwhelmed and offered kindness and helped complete my order. Today I revisited the same Costa and was greeted by the same members of staff who remembered who I was and asked how things were and said they had been thinking of me. This absolutely blew me away, Costa management and head quarters should be so proud and honoured to have such kind and caring people working for their company, the names of these very special people are Nikki and Amy. Thank you to these ladies for showing such compassion, your moment of kindness and giving me your time has filled me with such positivity and strength. I had to write this review especially to say thank you. I would also like to mention Sophie who is an exceptional Barista and always makes me feel very welcome. I love this store. You have a great team, Thank you. X
I ordered a pink lemonade as they didn't have any frappe, coolers or whip lates when it came it wasn't lemonade it was tap water I said this to the staff and they said its how we make ours I said that's false advertising, as we walked away my friend said they were both laughing. My friend was going to try it but she smelt it and decided against it which was a good idea as it had strawberries in which she has a adverse reaction to them, nowhere does it state the ingredients. When the lad came out to clear the tables I again said to him that you can't use tap water when advertising lemonade he argued and said yes you can he was very argumentative but he did off me a refund. I suffer with IBS so drinking tap water is a big no for me.
I’ve been visiting this costa since a long time as a member and have had great experience everytime but today I have to say my experience was ruined big time. I went ahead and ordered a orange raspberry Victoria sponge and the portion that I got was very very small I mean while looking from the customer’s side the slice looked fair but the one that was served was very small so I asked the barista if he could exchange it for which he said all slices were equal and he can’t change it for me. He explained me how they used to cut the cake in 12 slices earlier and now they make 14 slices of the same sized cake now this is something that I can’t talk about since it’s Costa’s policy but I think my experience could have improved if he’d had just offered me other slice. I don’t know the serving standards here but this is how it was served as well.
Ordered the new hazel hot chocolate drink, specifically ordered for sit in, they gave it to me in a takeaway cup. I asked if they could give me in a sit in cup, aka the glass cups, they took the takeaway cup back and poured the hot chocolate into a sit in cup. Which is fine if they did it right. The cream on it went crazy and the overall looks of it was very unsatisfactory. I did not enjoy my experience i m afraid. The environment is not friendly. As shown in the picture empty cups are everywhere. I would not try another coffee/drink at this branch unless i have to again because of a meeting. It’s worth nothing that these small things impact visitors and their level of satisfaction. If i ever have to come back, i hope these comments help the staff and managers reach another step in their services, and that i find the place better.
This costa coffee shop never open in time very day open late and not good service very very bad and slow
Bought some coffee pod for my tassimo on the shelf the price was £5.29 sat down with my wife and had coffee checked the recipe and I had been charged £5.75 went to the counter and asked why this was young girl said they don't tell us when they have changed the price of things and then she proceeds to serve the next customer no apology I was disappointed a complaint going to head office I think
It was good but I asked for half a shot coffee And they put a full one in Also my lattee sunk
Stop off here yesterday to get hot chocolate , cappuccino after Christmas food shopping in local Asda next door after getting back into the car to drive home both drinks smelt gone off which must of been the milk they were using myself partner ended up with bad belly wouldn’t used this Costa again 20 minutes wait to make two drinks not that busy inside If u want a drink made with gone off milk this is place for you
Bought new Choclate fudge Frappe and it tasted disgusting, If I was trying it the first time I wouldn’t have know the taste. I bought exact same frappe from odeon costa trafford centre and it was delicious, it had brownies or fudge chunks, I could taste the coffee and chocolate but the one I bought today, was disgusting, no chunks, couldn’t taste the coffee and it just tasted watery the guy wasn’t interested in working, looks like he was frustrated from another customer, as being a customer I don’t want to see that behaviour, at least a nice greeting would do!!! A simple Hello or Hi. Just had an Awfull experience. Also i wanted new mango frappe as-well and that wasn’t available, not sure why as wasn’t given a reason but it’s good I didn’t get it as my money would have been wasted!!!!
