The barista w the curly hair and glasses is so rude for no reason… got more order wrong then tried to tell me off for taking an extra cup to give the whipped cream (that I asked to not have) to my dog instead..?
I have been a loyal customer of Costa for about 10 years, visiting Manchester Fort Costa almost every day. This branch used to be very nice, but sadly, the standard has dropped because some of the staff are now extremely rude and unprofessional. In particular, there is one male staff member (photo attached on Google review) who is shockingly unhygienic and rude. I have seen him multiple times putting his fingers in his nose, rubbing his eyes, and then making coffee without washing his hands. He often yawns openly, looks tired, and handles lids and cups with the same dirty hands. Recently, I have noticed his eyes appear infected, and he continues to rub them before preparing drinks without any care for hygiene.I go there every day, and I have witnessed this repeatedly. It is disgusting, unhygienic, and unacceptable. It is a health hazard for all customers and damaging to your brand’s reputation. I urge the owner and management to take immediate action, address this staff member’s hygiene and attitude, and ensure Costa’s standards are maintained.
Came in for a cuppa, was treated absolutely horribly by the woman who I presume is the manager. Her name tag said Maria. Didn't look up at me when I ordered and made me repeat my order multiple times, making me feel utterly humiliated in line. Please reprimand this behaviour, she should not be in a public facing role.
Sat in store 30 minutes not busy. Tables have had rubbish and used cups etc for that whole period. The staff 1 small Asian female, 1 Oriental female both constantly on their mobile phones behind the counter. Tall white female doing all the work by the looks of things.
The Mexican lady(I think) got our order and she's doing a very good job. First time trying Costa and I got what I paid for.
Shocking staff, turned up to collect a too good to go bag 1 minute late!!! Lights still on in the shop, 2 staff still in there refused us collecting.... we were 60 seconds late as we were delayed due to an ambulance on a blue light call!!!
A very cozy place indeed especially when there’s a little drizzle outside. The ambiance was so quiet and comfortable that you can get a lot of work done in peaceful environment. There are chairs, sofa seats and counters to choose from according to your taste. Outdoor seating is however best for a bit chilly weather. About coffee, I found it pretty bland to be honest. It just tasted like coffee dissolved in water with a pinch of milk. Still better than Starbucks but needed a cookie to get some taste. The staff is really friendly and helpful with ingredients and taste.
