It’s a must experience for food and ambience! Where you live in Penang or are visiting . Excellent staff beautiful views and even better when sun is setting . As the night draws you are treated to a fire show . So both romantic and suitable for families . Sam & his staff do an amazing job !
The loaded fries are genuinely the best thing I've eaten this week customer service is 10/10 and the taste from the steak is unreal credit to all the staff and the owners
First time we've been here and it was a Friday night. The venue is something special. We never been seen a restaurant in a church and with live music. Service was awesome. We got welcomed on the moment of arrival and offeres a table on the top level above the bar that overviews the whole restaurant. Food was lovely even if it took a while to get prepared which we were told by the waiter. The restaurant was almost full at around 7 pm. We will definitely go back again.
The venue is incredible, an old church with stain glass windows. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff are nothing but friendly. The prices of the food were remarkable, how they keep them so low is impressive. All the food in the picture totalled £30!!! Would recommend highly and they made my birthday with their incredible food!
Lovely food, good atmosphere although music can be a little loud to have a convo, wine could be better, not keen on jsk rabbit, lovely staff.
I go street food every so often eating in and take away and enjoy the food but the big let down is the man who is head of house seems very lazy and doesn’t seem interested half the time , we was waiting half an hour for our bill after telling him we wanted the bill as we had to get going and my bf had to go up and ask twice again for it and twice before we have ordered starters and they forgot about them and came out with our mains. And the takeaway always seems very slow, on average it seems to be around a hour later than they say. Although the food is very nice and the chefs are spot on but the male head of house is a major let down just seems to chat to his mates or on his phone .
Food supposed to arrive at 6. Told it would be 15 mins late. Waited until 7. Told it was 2 mins away. Finally arrived 7.30. Chicken and halloumi burger was basically a piece of grilled chicken and some halloumi, one limp bit of lettuce and nothing else. Chips were meant to be "red salt" chips..about three were. Overall just disappointing, £25 for two burgers and a bit of halloumi. Not impressed. Can understand things being late but just be honest about it. Will stick to our usual next time.
