   Fantastic staff at costa Tesco east Didsbury .. I’ve been in a few times now and the staff are so lovely especially Adam, Ali and Jen they know my order as soon as I come in and have it ready for me .. just brilliant service and they always have a smile on there faces it’s refreshing .. would definitely recommend it’s the best costa I’ve been to and the store is immaculate ..

   I am very disappointed with the service we received on Saturday. If there was a minus star, I could have used - . We found 2 members of staff who told us not to seat on specific area because they were short staffed. I asked why as there were other people sat there already and I wanted the comfy chairs on the end. The staff Insisted that we sit on the front side which didn’t have our preference seats . We had our meal, cleaned the table for ourselves and sat down. There were three available tables on our secluded area however, other customers were not sitting there. We sat there in dis believe as 12 costumers came and sat EXACTLY where were asked NOT to sit including one whom they physically searched on the table. I asked the 2 ladies before I left why this had happened, I did get very offended as we were both female from the BME community and all those who sat on the area we were told NOT to sit were all from the majority community. I questioned why there was no sign informing customers not to sit there and one lady said that they were about to put it up!!! One hour after we were told not to sit. I can call this inequality, discrimination, belittling and not being given the service as a customer. My sister and I did inform the staff that I will be expecting to hear from the manager and I guess an apology could go a long way. Very disappointed that in this day and age we still have to experience this kind of service and mot of all Costa.

   The manager for such a young lady is outstanding professionally. This lady has excellent customer service skills. Obviously respects the people she is managing. The whole experience in there is a welcoming experience. If she is having a bad day I for one have never seen it portrayed across the counter or with the staff by her. So patient. Carries trays for people. Very helpful and informative. Cannot do enough to help you. Does not frown when my grandchildren make a mess which is often. I do not have to ask for my order. She knows it off by heart as do her staff. The staff members are all of the above. Just a lovely team overall. Words cannot express my gratitude to all of these lovely people. My children call in for take aways and always have something nice to say about their visit. She is a credit to your company.
