I called in today , as it was Xmas market day , I was cold n wet , I chose this cafe as it had at least 6 empty tables , ordered 2 hot drinks n got turned away , they said can only have a drink if I order FOOD !! Obviously they DONT need the custom!! The assistant was rude n unprofessional AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!
Asked for a tea and a coffee, we don’t do just tea and coffee you have to order food, gobsmacked. The place was almost empty and they’re turning customers away and what’s worse they’re doing it with a rude and unprofessional attitude. Obviously won’t be going again even for food.
Heidi is one of Athertons unsung heros, a lifesaver on a Sunday morning. Excellent breakfasts and lovely staff. Thanks.
A great little place for anything from a quick coffee/ snack to a full on meal. Will definitely be back on my next visit to the area.
Ordered gammon egg and chips. Couldnt even finish it. The gammon had been deep fried. Parts were solid and un chewable. Also un cutable. Other parts under done. Was also swimming in oil taking away any flavour. The chips were 10 seconds away from being black. Absolutely sodden again with oil. Oozed out when pressed with fork. What bothers me most is someone dished that up and though or was okay send out. Will not be going back. Shame as staff are friendly and it seemed a nice busy cafe.
Every time I come home have at least 1 breakfast here. Sausage barm went down a treat.
Superb home cooked food. Friendly staff and great service. Good choice of specials.
Best breakfast for miles, Heidi and the rest of the staff are fabulous. Great prices too, why pay twice the price at other places in Atherton for an inferior meal when you can come here. Keep it up. Daz
We used Corner House Cafe for a Buffett at our sons christening they catered for 80 guest's. Had so many compliments on how amazing the Buffet was and how fresh it was. There was lots of variety. Couldn't recommend them enough even the kids had a little table of goodies.
