Called in Saturday night to see the two Connor and Sam Hewitt. The pub was packed with a really good atmosphere.
Great friendly local pub. Well priced beers good selection. Plenty of TV with all sports. Well worth a visit

I attended the WWE SummerSlam viewing party on Saturday August 21st and what an amazing night it was from start to finish. The staff were spot on with their excellent service and there was a fantastic atmosphere all night from a load of like-minded people, all there for the same reason. Many small groups began the night as strangers but we ended up leaving as friends. My group in particular usually have to go to the Printworks to watch the 'big 4' WWE events but this was so much better, and right on our doorstep too. I know for a fact that nothing like this has ever been done in Oldham before and I really hope it happens again for Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. The DJ playing wrestling music for an hour before SummerSlam and also the excellent quiz was just the icing on the cake for me. Aside from the wrestling, the venue itself looks absolutely fantastic after the much-needed refurbishment. Best wishes and many thanks for a night we will never forget (and please do this again).
