We are a group of four who go every weekend for a meal with the inlaws. Wendy is great, always rushed off her feet though.
The karaoke was superb and the Guinness on draft served with a smile and in a clean glass. Lovely atmosphere and the bar is so unique will be back.
We go for food every week, excellent food, good menu, cooked as you order always served well and hot, staff bar and kitchen Brill old pub, but that add s to the atmosphere, well done to all
Great pub nice traditional food 11 till 3. Karaoke also. Plus northern south days next one second Saturday in November I think just check. Also live bands jam
What a gem this place is it still has its Original bar. the staff are lovely and attentive. The food is is amazing no nonsense grub . The cheese and onion pie is amazing. The best I’ve ever had.
Very traditional old pub. Traditional in the fact that I don't think anything has been moved since it was built. That is not a bad thing by any means, it is so nice to see a traditional pub with mod cons (karaoke, DJ etc). The food I have heard is excellent, although this information is second hand but from an avid diner, this is gold star in their world. Have a pint and a gander.
